Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space (paid to the organizer)
- Material handling / drayage, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the venue requires
Published rates:
- Booth space, linear: $36.50 per sq ft, 2027 prospectus
- Booth space, island: $44.50 per sq ft, 2027 prospectus
- Corner premium: $450 per corner, 2027 prospectus
- Drayage: About $175 per cwt, 200 lb minimum, 2026–2027 planning rate
Key dates
- 50% deposit and full booth payment due: March 1, 2027
- Design sign-off with Purple: Early April 2027
- Early April 2027: Design sign-off; island schematics prepared for show management approval.
- April to May 2027: Production in Fishkill, NY, with claims panels proofed by your regulatory team.
- Late May 2027: Booth, demo equipment and literature ship to the Freeman advance warehouse.
- June 12–13, 2027: Move-in; our project manager and Local 831 labor install, carpet and test every demo before Sunday evening.
- June 14–16, 2027: Show days; your Purple project manager is on the floor through every exhibit session.
- June 16, 2027: Dismantle from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., equipment packed to your return plan.

Checklist
- Send Purple your APIC27 booth number, footprint and booth type
- List every product to demo, with power, liquids and weight
- Gather approved kill claims, contact times and outcome data from regulatory
- Decide whether a UV device will run live and request written approval
- Ask show management about an Exhibitor Theater slot for a 30-minute talk
- Approve the concept rendering and island schematics by early April
- Book hotels near LA Live and the convention center through the APIC housing block
- Staff two stations for the lunch and breakfast peaks and plan lead follow-up
