Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space (paid to the organizer)
- Material handling / drayage, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the venue requires
Published rates:
- Booth space: $31.50 per sq ft for FPSA members, 2027 show
- Booth space, non-members: $38.00 per sq ft, 2027 show
- Drayage: $4.75 per sq ft, optional under 200 sq ft, 2027 show
Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: Mid-August 2027
- Later in 2026: Exhibitor sales open; an Intent to Exhibit form earns priority, and you choose the Solution Zone that matches your buyers.
- Mid-August 2027: Design sign-off, machine list with weights, power and compressed-air needs, and graphics copy written for your zone.
- Late August to September 2027: Production in Fishkill, NY: plinths, guarding, demo counters and graphics built and test-assembled over 30 to 45 days.
- About 3 weeks before move-in: Crates reach the advance warehouse labeled by building, hall and booth; utility orders and exhibitor kit forms filed.
- Days before October 26: Move-in; our project manager and vetted local labor, or your own full-time staff, assemble and run every machine.
- October 26–28, 2027: Show hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (3 p.m. on Thursday); dismantle follows the Thursday close.

Checklist
- Submit the Intent to Exhibit form so your company gets priority when sales open later in 2026
- Settle FPSA membership before signing: $31.50 versus $38.00 per square foot
- Pick the Solution Zone whose buyers sign your purchase orders
- List every machine with weight, footprint, power, water and compressed-air needs
- Name the staff on your full-time payroll six months before October 26, 2027, who will assemble equipment, and keep W-2 or payroll proof on hand
- Approve the concept rendering and zone graphics by mid-August 2027
- Reserve skywalk-linked rooms (Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, Marriott Marquis Chicago) for your machine technicians
- Choose who attends the Manufacturer Meet-Up or Collaboration Lab for your segment
