Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space (paid to the organizer)
- Material handling / drayage, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the venue requires
Published rates:
- Booth space: $30 per sq ft from Oct. 1, 2026, plus $250 per open corner, 2027 show
- Space discounts: $4 per sq ft for 2026 exhibitors; $2 per sq ft for USPOULTRY, AFIA or Meat Institute members, 2027
- Drayage: About $150 per cwt with a 200-lb minimum, 2026–2027 planning figure
- Fire watch: $30.50 per hour from GWCC Public Safety, 2027 rules
Key dates
- Island and peninsula booth renderings due to IPPE: October 30, 2026
- Design sign-off with Purple: Mid-November 2026
- By October 30, 2026: Island, peninsula and split-island renderings with structure heights and hanging-sign position filed with IPPE show management.
- Mid-November 2026: Design sign-off; production starts in Fishkill, NY, with machine plinths, guarding and graphics built over 30 to 45 days.
- By January 5, 2027: Advance-rate orders with GES, Edlen, CCLD, PRG and Levy; EAC form and target-time variance requests filed with GES.
- By January 15, 2027: Booth and equipment arrive at the GES advance warehouse, carriers checked in by 2 p.m.
- January 20–25, 2027: Targeted move-in; our project manager and vetted local labor install, power up and test every machine before the 6 p.m. January 25 finish.
- January 26–28, 2027: Show days, show-ready by 9 a.m. on opening day; dismantle starts at 3 p.m. January 28 and freight leaves by January 31.

Checklist
- Send Purple your booth number, footprint and booth type from the IPPE contract
- Approve island or peninsula renderings in time for the October 30, 2026 filing
- List every machine with weight, dimensions, power, water and compressed-air needs
- Name the qualified staff who will operate running equipment in the booth
- Move feed ingredient samples from the giveaway plan to sealed displays
- Book a Customer Connection Center room if your booth is 200 sq ft or larger
- Register booth staff free through January 25, 2027; onsite badges cost $199
- Book block hotels through Maritz and keep an extra night for move-out, January 28 to 31
