The equipment is the headline: IPPE 2027 booths in Atlanta built to run it
Plant managers, feed mill buyers and integrator executives come to IPPE to watch equipment run, so we frame your machine with guarding, setbacks and a quiet seat for spec talks. Georgia is right-to-work, GES moves the freight, and we land your crates at its advance warehouse by January 15.

What makes IPPE different, and how we build for it
IPPE puts three industries on one badge: USPOULTRY, the American Feed Industry Association and the Meat Institute run it together, so a broiler integrator, a feed mill manager and a sausage plant engineer walk the same aisles. It is a private business event, and IPPE reports that 48% of attendees are authorized decision-makers. Feed and animal food fill Green Hall A; processing, packaging, egg and live production fill Red Hall B and Blue Halls BC/C. Exhibitors teach as well as sell: more than 90 TECHTalks ran on floor theaters in 2026, and the New Product Showcase awards its “Best of the Best” in animal food, processing and live production.
Equipment running at real speed, sanitary design they can inspect from a step away, and staff who talk yield, line speed, washdown time and parts support.
C-level management made up 42% of 2026 attendees. They want a quiet seat, a senior counterpart and numbers on capacity, labor savings and service contracts.
Latin America supplied 49% of the 2026 international visitors, so Spanish-speaking staff, metric spec sheets and clear answers on export, installation and local service win the meeting.

Inside IPPE 2027
Rules that shape your booth
Standard linear and end-cap booths reach 8 feet only in the rear half, stay under 4 feet forward to the aisle and carry no ceiling-hung signs. We put your brand on the back wall and keep counters and screens low up front.
Islands may use their full cube to 16 feet, and designs for islands, peninsulas, hanging signs and towers over 8 feet go to IPPE's exhibit manager by October 30, 2026. We draw and file them before that date.
To guard against African swine fever, IPPE bans handing out bulk or packaged feed ingredient and additive samples; displays stay in sealed containers and go home with you. We build sealed, lit sample columns so buyers judge the product by eye.
Machinery sits at least 1 foot inside the booth line, with 3 feet of clearance or hazard barriers around moving parts, and only qualified exhibitor staff run it. We build guarded plinths and viewing rails into the floor plan from the first drawing.
Any ceiling, roof or second level needs smoke detectors, a 2A10BC extinguisher and GWCC fire watch booked at least two weeks before opening, and second levels are allowed only on islands of 900 sq ft or more. We size the room and order the coverage.
Programs worth planning for
Twenty-minute technical presentations, not sales pitches, on the A-Hall, B-Hall and C-Hall floor theaters, with up to two per exhibiting company; applications close October 23, 2026.
Private rooms for up to 12 people on the Building B show floor, open to exhibitors with booths of 200 sq ft or more: $500 for two hours, $1,000 for a half day, $1,500 for a full day.
A free listing distributed to IPPE's international attendees, offered with the U.S. Commercial Service and open to active 2027 exhibitors; sign-up closes December 4, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EST.
Dedicated floor sections: pathogen testing, antimicrobials, hand-washing systems and X-ray or foreign-material detection qualify for food safety; protective clothing, ergonomics, floor matting and safety signage for worker safety.
IPPE is the protein and animal feed specialist among U.S. food shows: choose it over the Food Production Solutions Show in Chicago when your buyers run poultry, egg, meat or feed plants rather than general food manufacturing lines. Compare every food and beverage show we build for →

Popular booth sizes at IPPE
IPPE sells space by the square foot from a single 10×10, with 8-foot back drape on inline booths, peninsulas from 20×20 and second levels only on islands of 900 sq ft or more. We recommend a 10×20 or 10×30 inline for one working machine and a 20×20 or larger island when a line runs under power.

One compact machine such as a portioner, scale or hatchery unit set back from the aisle, a graphic back wall and a two-seat spec table.

KLEEMANN at a industrial technology exhibition
An interactive booth for a global elevator manufacturer: digital simulations, real product showcases and a floor plan that guided visitors from first step to last.
Different industry, same problem: KLEEMANN's booth walked visitors through real product and simulations from first step to last, the job an IPPE booth does around a running machine.

04 Designing for poultry, egg, meat and animal feed equipment and technology suppliers at IPPE
Four things we get right for IPPE exhibitors
1Plan setbacks before walls
IPPE requires machinery at least 1 foot inside your booth line and 3 feet of clearance or hazard barriers around moving parts, and access doors may not swing into the aisle. We draw the machine first, then guarding, viewing rails and a step-up platform so buyers see the cut, the weigh or the pellet.
2Work the 4-foot front half
Inline booths at IPPE reach 8 feet only in the rear half; everything forward to the aisle stays under 4 feet, and no sign may sit on top of tall equipment. We set the brand wall at the back, keep counters low and angle screens so plant managers read your message from the aisle.
3Show feed without giving it away
Feed ingredient and additive samples cannot leave the booth at IPPE because of African swine fever biosecurity rules. We build sealed acrylic columns and lit drawers for Green Hall A booths so nutritionists can judge particle size and color by eye, and everything packs home with you.
Give capital buyers a door
Integrator executives come to talk budgets, not features. We build a closed meeting room into islands, with the smoke detector, extinguisher and GWCC fire watch any roofed space needs, or book IPPE's Customer Connection Center room for 12 in Building B when your booth is 200 sq ft or more.

Concept rendering
Every proposal comes with a rendering like this

Logistics for IPPE 2027, handled
IPPE lets exhibitors supply their own carpentry labor, so your team or our vetted local labor can build at the GWCC, while GES moves every crate and alone runs the pallet jacks. Targeted move-in runs January 20 to 25, 2027, scheduled by booth size and location, and every booth must be finished by 6 p.m. on January 25. We ship to the GES advance warehouse by January 15, order Edlen power, water and compressed air and any Lowe Refrigeration rentals by January 5, and tag empty crates before the 4:30 p.m. clean-floor cutoff on January 24. Plan drayage at about $150 per hundredweight, our 2026–2027 planning figure. Move-out runs to January 31, when GES forces remaining freight at 4 p.m.
Hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for this building are in our Georgia World Congress Center exhibitor guide.
Hall guide
IPPE organizes its floor by industry across the three buildings of the Georgia World Congress Center, so your product category decides your hall, your neighbors and which TECHTalks theater sits closest to your booth.
Animal food ingredients and equipment, animal health and rendering, with the A-Hall Theater hosting the animal feed TECHTalks.
Our advice: Feed mill equipment runs tall and heavy, so we plan floor loads, compressed air and 16-foot island structures, with sealed ingredient displays in place of samples.
Egg, genetics, incubation, live production, food safety, worker safety and processing, shared with Blue Halls BC/C; the Customer Connection Center rooms sit inside the B4/B5 entrance beside a TECHTalks theater.
Our advice: Book a Customer Connection Center room early if your booth is 200 sq ft or more, and keep your own booth for demos rather than long meetings.
Building C and Exhibit Hall BC, the 140,000 sq ft connector opened in 2020 that joins Building B to form more than 1 million contiguous square feet.
Our advice: Long sightlines reward islands: a hanging sign up to 24 feet over your own space marks a processing line from far down the hall.
GES and Edlen run their exhibitor service desks in both connectors, and an exhibitor lounge sits near the GES desk at the C-Hall end of the bridge.
Our advice: Our project manager clears freight, power and compressed-air questions at these desks during move-in, so your machines run before the 9 a.m. show-ready deadline on January 26.

IPPE exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before IPPE
How much does a booth at IPPE 2027 cost?
For one working machine in a 10×20 inline, plan $7,500 to $15,000 for a rental build or $15,000 to $45,000 custom. An island running a processing or feed line costs $50,000 to $120,000 at 20×20. Guarding, heavy-equipment plinths and a rigged hanging sign move the price most. IPPE bills space at $30 per square foot, and GES, Edlen and drayage charges come separately.
When are IPPE 2027 island and peninsula drawings due?
October 30, 2026. Peninsula, split-island peninsula and island booths of 300 sq ft or more send renderings with structure dimensions and hanging-sign size and position to IPPE's Senior Exhibit Manager, and multi-level plans also need a licensed structural engineer's stamp. We produce and file those drawings, then need your final design sign-off by mid-November for a 30 to 45 day build.
Can we rent a booth for IPPE, and what does a rental include?
An IPPE rental is drawn around the machine you ship: a plinth and guard rail that hold it 1 foot inside your booth line, an 8-foot back wall with printed graphics and lighting, counters kept under the 4-foot front-half limit, and the carpet IPPE requires in every booth. Freight to the GES advance warehouse, install and dismantle sit on the same fixed proposal.
Can we set up our own booth at the Georgia World Congress Center?
Yes. Georgia's right-to-work law and IPPE's own rules allow exhibitor-supplied carpentry labor, so your staff can assemble the booth themselves. When Purple installs instead, the Exhibitor Appointed Contractor form and a $2 million liability certificate go to GES by January 5, 2027. We file both and preregister our installers, so nobody pays the $199 onsite badge fee.
Can we run equipment or hand out samples at IPPE?
Running machinery sits at least 1 foot inside your booth line, with 3 feet of clearance or hazard barriers around moving parts, and only qualified exhibitor staff in eye and ear protection operate it. Feed ingredient and additive samples cannot be handed out because of African swine fever; display them sealed. Food and drinks come from Levy Restaurants, and alcohol pours from 11 a.m.
What does drayage cost at IPPE, and who pays it?
GES, IPPE's general contractor, bills material handling to your company. For the 2026 and 2027 seasons we plan on roughly $150 per hundredweight at the GWCC, billed on a 200-pound minimum, and booths of 500 sq ft or more pay $50 for every crate untagged at 4:30 p.m. on January 24. We pack machines and graphics into as few crates as we can and price drayage on your proposal.
Which hall will our IPPE booth be in?
The floor is organized by category. Animal food ingredients and equipment, animal health and rendering go to Green Hall A. Egg production, genetics, incubation, live production, food safety, worker safety and meat and poultry processing and packaging fill Red Hall B and Blue Halls BC/C. Pathogen testing, antimicrobial and X-ray inspection suppliers can choose the Food Safety Pavilion.
Can we hang a sign over our IPPE booth?
Only islands, peninsulas, walk-through booths and large linear or large corner booths qualify. A hanging sign tops out at 24 feet, can be 5 feet tall at most, hangs directly over your own space and sets back 5 feet from neighbors. Inline and end-cap booths get none, so we put your brand on an 8-foot back wall that reads from the aisle.
Can we reuse our IPPE booth at other shows?
It can, if we plan for it from the first drawing. We build IPPE booths in modules, so the plinths, back wall and lighting that worked the GWCC floor in January can come back to Atlanta for PACK EXPO Southeast or travel to Petfood Forum in Kansas City or the IAFP Annual Meeting. Between shows we store the kit and print new graphics for the next show's buyers.
When is IPPE 2027?
IPPE 2027 runs Tuesday, January 26 to Thursday, January 28, 2027. The exhibit halls open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the first day, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the second and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the last. Targeted move-in starts January 20, and IPPE has already set January 25 to 27, 2028 for the next edition.
Where is IPPE 2027 held?
At the Georgia World Congress Center, 285 Andrew Young International Blvd NW, Atlanta, where IPPE takes place every year. The floor spreads across Green Hall A, Red Hall B and Blue Halls BC/C. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is about 10 miles and 30 minutes away by road, and Maritz is the only hotel provider IPPE endorses.
How many people attend IPPE?
IPPE's 2026 Event Wrap-Up Report counts 32,550 total attendees, including 9,706 international visitors from 115 countries, and 1,375 exhibitors on 662,214 square feet, the largest floor in IPPE history. The 2025 show drew 30,502 attendees and 1,385 exhibitors.
Is IPPE open to the public?
No. IPPE is a private business event for buyers and sellers in feed manufacturing and in meat, poultry and egg production and processing, and management can refuse registration to anyone without an industry tie. Qualified attendees pay $99 through January 8, 2027, $149 from January 9 and $199 onsite from January 26.
How do I get a booth at IPPE?
USPOULTRY, AFIA and the Meat Institute run IPPE, and show management sells space online from the Exhibit page. A non-refundable $500 application fee contracts the booth and counts toward your balance. Booths start at 10×10 at $30 per square foot, and contracts issued October 1 to December 15, 2026 are due in full within 15 days.
Before you sign with anyone
Five questions to ask any exhibit builder for IPPE:
- Is every fee on the proposal, including what the show contractor bills?
- Who builds the booth: your own shop or a subcontractor?
- Will your project manager be on the floor for install and dismantle?
- What exactly is in the rental, and what is billed by the show?
- Where does the booth go after the show, and what does storage cost?
Common situations
Already own a booth? We refresh the graphics, repair what is worn, ship it, install it and store it between shows. You keep the structure you paid for.
Exhibiting from outside the US? We are your team on the ground: freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage, with one project manager answering your emails in your time zone.
Short on time? A rental with your graphics can be ready in two to three weeks. We tell you on the first call what is realistic for your date.
