Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space (paid to the organizer)
- Material handling / drayage, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the venue requires
Published rates:
- Drayage: About $170–180 per cwt, 200 lb minimum, 2026–27 planning figure
- Booth space payment: 30% due 12–9 months out, 60% at 9–6 months, 100% six months before the show
- Parking: $25 per day self-parking at the Anaheim Convention Center, posted for MD&M West 2027
Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: Late November 2026
- Late November 2026: Design sign-off; sample positions, demo utilities and any Hall E height limits drawn for the booth review form.
- December 2026 to mid-January 2027: Production in Fishkill, NY: frames, sample fixtures, lit counters and graphics built and test-assembled.
- About 3 weeks before move-in: Crates ship to the Freeman advance warehouse; electrical, rigging, carpet and material handling orders filed.
- Days before February 9, 2027: Move-in; our project manager and vetted local labor install, dress the samples and run the demo cycle.
- February 9–11, 2027: Expo days; Hall E opens at 9:30 a.m., the other halls at 10 a.m., and the floor closes at 4 p.m. Thursday.
- After 4 p.m. February 11, 2027: Dismantle; samples packed to your return list and the booth sent to storage or your next show.

Checklist
- Forward the MD&M West 2027 space contract with booth number and hall
- Give us weight, size, power and compressed air for each demo cell
- Pick the five samples that open the most engineering conversations
- Count staff against the 10 badges per 10×10 and plan for adults only on the floor
- Decide whether to enter the Sustainable Booth Contest so we keep the materials list
- Load your VIP Guest Invites code into customer emails before February
- Book hotels through onPeak, the only provider MD&M West endorses
- Assign who answers each sample request and quote after the February 11 close
