Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space (paid to the organizer)
- Material handling / drayage, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the venue requires
Published rates:
- Booth space: $50.47 per sq ft for SFA members, 2027 show
- Corner premium: $800 per corner booth, 2027 show
- Material handling: $1.48 per lb direct, $1.51 via Freeman warehouse, 2027 show
- Spark Pavilion: $999 one-day kiosk, $1,699 three-day tabletop, 2027 show
Key dates
- SFA member booth package order on FreemanOnline: December 17, 2026
- Design sign-off with Purple: Early November 2026
- Early November 2026: Design sign-off, sample menu and equipment list locked; RangeMe Buyer Outreach application in by November 9.
- Mid-November to mid-December 2026: Production in Fishkill, NY, through Thanksgiving; counters built to the 4-foot front line and graphics proofed against your packaging.
- By December 17, 2026: SFA member booth package and electrical ordered on FreemanOnline; crates ship to the Freeman warehouse before the holiday break.
- January 14–16, 2027: Targeted move-in by booth size, 800 square feet and up first; our project manager and the I&D Local 510 crew build every counter, then IBEW Local 6 connects the power we ordered.
- January 17–19, 2027: Show days, buyers in from 9:30 a.m.; your Purple project manager stays on the floor and the booth is staffed until 3 p.m. Tuesday.
- January 19–21, 2027: Move-out; carriers check in by 9 a.m. January 21, all freight leaves by noon, and the booth goes to storage or the next show.

Checklist
- Get SFA Tier 2 membership and product qualification in place before booking space
- Apply for RangeMe Buyer Outreach by November 9, 2026 and request Curated Connections meetings
- Approve the design in early November 2026, before production runs into Thanksgiving
- Order the free SFA member booth package on FreemanOnline by December 17, 2026
- Write down each product you plan to pour or plate, and flag the ones that need a Lowe refrigerator or hot holding
- Choose electric or induction equipment so no open-flame permit is needed
- Forward your SFA space contract so we see the booth number, footprint and any $800 corner
- Book onPeak hotels and plan staff for buyer entry at 9:30 a.m. each day
