Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space (paid to the organizer)
- Material handling / drayage, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the venue requires
Published rates:
- Booth space, 10×10 inline: $6,600 member early-bird, 2027 rate
- Booth space, 20×20 island: $32,000 early-bird, $32,500 from March 1, 2027
- Private Meeting Space: $14,500 early-bird, $14,700 standard, 2027 rate
- Drayage: About $176 per cwt, 200 lb minimum, 2026–2027 planning rate
Key dates
- NACDS booth space prices increase: March 1, 2027
- Design sign-off with Purple: Early June 2027
- Early June 2027: Design sign-off, meeting room count and product list locked.
- June to mid-July 2027: Production in Fishkill, NY; shelving built and graphics proofed against your packaging.
- Late July 2027: Booth ships to the advance warehouse in San Diego.
- Days before August 14: Move-in in your assigned slot; our project manager and local labor install, stock shelves and test screens.
- August 14–16, 2027: Show days and Meet the Market appointments; your Purple project manager is on the floor.
- After the close: Dismantle, samples packed to your return plan and booth to storage or the next show.

Checklist
- Send us your booth number, size and any Private Meeting Space from the NACDS contract
- Count your Meet the Market appointments and buyers per meeting
- Choose the new items and planogram for the shelf wall
- Build sample kits and sell sheets by retailer
- Send logo, packaging files and product photography to Purple
- Approve the concept rendering and the meeting room plan
- Book hotels near the waterfront or the Gaslamp Quarter
- Plan follow-up for every buyer meeting before you leave San Diego
