Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space (paid to the organizer)
- Material handling / drayage, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the venue requires
Published rates:
- Booth space: $42.50 per sq ft, 2026 rate
- Drayage: About $95 per cwt, 2026 planning rate
Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: Early April 2027
- Early April 2027: Design sign-off, demo engineering and any island or covered-structure drawings submitted.
- April to May 2027: 30–45 day production in Fishkill, NY; demo platforms and graphics built and test-fitted.
- About 3 weeks before move-in: Booth, pumps and demo equipment ship to the show contractor’s advance warehouse.
- Move-in days before June 14: Our project manager and vetted local labor install, connect power and water, and run the demo checklist.
- June 14–16, 2027: Conference & Expo days; a Purple project manager is on call for the whole run.
- After close on June 16: Dismantle, equipment crated to your return plan, booth to storage or the next show.

Checklist
- Confirm booth number and footprint from your NFPA booth selection
- List every demo with its power, water, drainage and weight needs
- Gather listings, approvals and the NFPA standards each product answers
- Decide whether to book a slot in an Exhibitor Presentation Theater
- Send logo, product photography and cut sheets to Purple
- Approve the concept rendering and the demo engineering
- Book hotels near the convention center and the River Walk
- Plan ExpoAdvantage guest invitations for your key accounts
