Design render of a 30×40 island trade show booth: island booth with two-story upper deck and staircase
About this design

Why choose PX-692

With a full second floor, this island stands apart: a staircase climbs to an upper deck wrapped in frosted glass, giving you a private meeting room above the show floor. Below, the ground level works as a busy showroom with a large slatwall product display, a curved reception counter and a lit display case. Large photo panels on the deck fascia carry your imagery high over the aisle. It suits established manufacturers who sell to dealers and need both traffic and closed-door meetings.

How the space works

Visitors approaching from the corner meet the curved reception counter first, where staff check in appointments and scan badges. To one side, the slatwall product display runs the length of the deck wall so people can study the range up close. Behind the counter, a lit display case holds smaller items, with a TV on the wall for video. Guests with meetings climb the staircase, its side lit with an orange stripe, to the upper deck. Storage sits under the deck.

Best for

  • Manufacturers with a wide product range that sell through dealers and distributors
  • Sales teams that book private meetings with key accounts
  • Brands that want height and presence in a large hall
  • Exhibitors who need a storage room on site

What stands out

  • Upper meeting deck with frosted glass railing panels, which gives privacy while letting light through
  • Staircase with a lit graphic stringer, which turns the climb into a branded feature visible from the aisle
  • Large slatwall product display, which holds a big range at once and is quick to restock or rearrange

Make it yours

  • Fit the upper deck as a lounge or with a boardroom table
  • Swap part of the slatwall for shelving or lit graphic panels
  • Add a hospitality bar or second TV under the deck

How this estimate works

Material handling (drayage) is what the show's contractor charges to move your freight from the dock or warehouse to your booth and back. It's billed per 100 lb, with a 200 lb minimum. Our weight estimate for PX-692 is 14,600 lb, based on its size and contents.

Electrical is ordered per outlet from the hall; the range uses typical advance-order rates for the outlets this booth's screens and lights need. Booth space is what you pay the show organizer for the floor, usually per square foot. These are rough guides: your proposal lists the real rates from your show's exhibitor kit, and union cities run higher.

Questions

About PX-692

Does a double-deck booth need special approval?

Usually, yes. Most halls require engineered drawings and approval for multi-level booths, and some limit how many people can be on the upper deck. Rules and deadlines depend on the show and venue.

Can guests who can't use stairs reach the upper deck?

This design uses a staircase only. Plan to hold those meetings on the ground floor, or ask what options your venue allows.

Is there storage?

Yes. A storage room sits under the deck for stock, coats and supplies.
