Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space (paid to the organizer)
- Material handling / drayage, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the venue requires
Published rates:
- Booth space: $6,000 per 10×10, 2027 standard rate
- Corner fee: $250 per corner, 2027 rate
- Drayage: About $176 per cwt, 200 lb minimum, Purple 2026–2027 planning figure
Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: Mid-April 2027
- Mid-April 2027: Design sign-off, meeting-room plan and demo list locked; graphics sent into your MLR review.
- Late April to May 2027: Production in Fishkill, NY; approved graphics printed in house and checked against the build.
- Early June 2027: Booth ships crated to the advance warehouse for the San Diego Convention Center.
- June 26–27, 2027: Published move-in, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days; our project manager and union labor install and test every screen.
- June 28–30, 2027: Exhibit hall days; your dedicated Purple project manager stays on the floor.
- June 30, 2027: Dismantle from 2 p.m.; booth packed to storage or your next show.

Checklist
- Note your booth number, footprint and corners from your DIA contract
- Decide how many meetings per day the booth must host and how private they need to be
- List every demo: platform, screen size and internet needs
- Start your medical, legal and regulatory review of booth copy early
- Send logo, brand palette, approved claims and photography to Purple
- Approve the concept rendering and meeting-room layout
- Assign the complimentary full registrations and DIA Celebrate tickets that come with your space
- Book hotels near the convention center, such as the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina
