Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space (paid to the organizer)
- Material handling / drayage, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the venue requires
Published rates:
- Booth space: $1,395 per 10×10 for OAN members, $2,145 non-member, 2027 show FAQ
- Corner booth: Additional $150 per 10×10 space, 2027 show FAQ
Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: Mid-June 2027
- Mid-June 2027: Design sign-off, plant layout and sightline check against the Farwest display rules.
- Late June to July 2027: Production in Fishkill, NY or Las Vegas; graphics proofed against your plant photography.
- Early August 2027: Booth, plinths and fixtures ship on target to the Fern Expo advance warehouse.
- August 23–24, 2027: Move-in; our project manager and vetted local labor install and stage the plant material, finished by 8 pm Tuesday.
- August 25–27, 2027: Show days; your Purple project manager is on call for the whole run.
- After the 2 pm close on August 27: Dismantle, plants and booth packed to your return plan, booth to storage or the next show.

Checklist
- Note booth number, size and whether it is a row, endcap or island
- List trees and large containers with sizes and weights for Fern Expo
- Flag oversized or very heavy pieces for Fern Expo advance notice
- Decide on New Varieties Showcase or New Products Showcase entries
- Plan low plant material along the aisle edge to keep sightlines open
- Send logo, plant photography and availability lists to Purple
- Approve the concept rendering, plant layout and lighting plan
- Book rooms through the Farwest hotel page near the Oregon Convention Center
