Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space (paid to the organizer)
- Material handling / drayage, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the venue requires
Published rates:
- Drayage: About $130 per cwt, 200 lb minimum, 2026–2027 planning estimate
Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: Early March 2027
- Early March 2027: Design sign-off, sample list and booth drawings approved.
- Mid-March to mid-April 2027: Production in Fishkill, NY; graphics and sample fixtures built to your part sizes.
- Late April 2027: Booth and sample cases ship to the advance warehouse for Louisville.
- Days before May 19, 2027: Move-in; our project manager and vetted local labor install the booth and load the sample wall before opening.
- May 19–20, 2027: Show days; a Purple project manager is on call through both days.
- After the May 20 close: Dismantle once the floor closes at 3 PM, samples packed to your return plan.

Checklist
- Confirm booth number and footprint from the Fastener Fair USA contract
- List the product families, grades and finishes for the sample wall
- Note weights and power needs for any heading, threading or inspection equipment
- Set up your exhibitor profile and lead tools before matchmaking begins
- Book buyer meetings for both show days and plan a seated meeting area
- Send logo, line card, spec sheets and product photography to Purple
- Book hotels near the KICC and the Galt House and plan for the Opening Night Networking Party
- Plan sample case packing and return freight after the Thursday close
