Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space (paid to the organizer)
- Material handling / drayage, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the venue requires

- Booth space, 10×20: $5,700 member, $6,200 non-member, 2027 TAPPI rate
- Booth space, 20×20: $10,600 member, $11,000 non-member, 2027 TAPPI rate
- Hardwall private office: $4,500 (10×10) to $15,500 (30×30) on the exhibit floor, 2027
- Drayage (Purple venue guide): About $135 per cwt, 200 lb minimum, Purple's 2026–27 ICC planning figure
Key dates
- TAPPI booth balance due; no refunds after this date: December 1, 2026
- Design sign-off with Purple: Mid-February 2027
- December 1, 2026: TAPPI booth balance due; after this date cancellations get no refund. We lock your footprint and start concept work.
- Mid-February 2027: Design sign-off, component weights and sample lists final, drawings checked against TAPPI's display rules.
- Late February to March 2027: Production in Fishkill, NY; graphics proofed against your real samples and brand files.
- Early April 2027: Booth, mounts and sample furniture ship to the Indianapolis advance warehouse.
- April 24–25, 2027: Move-in, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, with union labor and our project manager; finished before 10 a.m. Monday.
- April 26–28, 2027: Show floor days, then move-out on Wednesday, April 28 and return shipping.

Checklist
- Pay TAPPI's booth balance by December 1, 2026, and in any case before April 1, 2027 to appear in the conference app
- Choose the one mill question the booth answers and the process stage it sits in
- List component dimensions, weights, viewing faces and any live-demo power needs
- Decide which paper, tissue or board samples are touch pieces and which are references
- Decide whether you need a TAPPI hardwall office on the floor
- Approve the concept rendering, lighting plan and sample-furniture layout by mid-February 2027
- Plan staff coverage for move-in April 24–25 and the 10 a.m. Monday opening
- Book hotel rooms once TAPPI publishes the 2027 housing block
