Design render of a 20×70 island trade show booth: island booth with two-story meeting rooms and twin staircases
About this design

Why choose PX-699

Built for meetings first, this two-story island gives you closed rooms on the ground floor, an open deck above, and steel staircases with glass railings at both sides. Bold red walls and white furniture make every space feel crisp. Below the deck, rows of white bar stools and high tables give a casual mingling zone, while reception counters at each end catch traffic from both aisles. It suits government delegations, defense and aerospace firms, and large sales teams booking back-to-back appointments.

How the space works

Visitors are greeted at the counters at either end, then step under the deck into a bright red zone with downlights, high tables and white bar stools, where staff hold quick conversations over coffee. A wall screen shows video beside the seating. For longer talks, guests go through a glass door into a meeting room with a long white table and padded white chairs, a laptop ready for presentations. Others climb a steel staircase to the upper deck for hosted meetings above the crowd.

Best for

  • Aerospace, defense and industrial firms holding scheduled, confidential meetings
  • Trade delegations and pavilions hosting several member companies under one roof
  • Sales teams that book many appointments and need private rooms plus open seating
  • Exhibitors who want an upper deck for hosting VIPs above the show floor

What stands out

  • Steel staircases with glass railings and wood treads, open and light enough to keep sightlines clear
  • Meeting room with a long white table and padded chairs, sized for a full team presentation
  • Lit underside of the upper deck that brightens the bar-stool zone below

Make it yours

  • Repaint the structure in your brand color; the red walls are graphics, not fixed finishes
  • Furnish the upper deck as a lounge, a second meeting room or a hospitality bar
  • Add screens inside the meeting rooms for video calls or product walkthroughs

How this estimate works

Material handling (drayage) is what the show's contractor charges to move your freight from the dock or warehouse to your booth and back. It's billed per 100 lb, with a 200 lb minimum. Our weight estimate for PX-699 is 16,700 lb, based on its size and contents.

Electrical is ordered per outlet from the hall; the range uses typical advance-order rates for the outlets this booth's screens and lights need. This design has a hanging sign, so the show's rigging crew also bills labor and a lift to hang it. Booth space is what you pay the show organizer for the floor, usually per square foot. These are rough guides: your proposal lists the real rates from your show's exhibitor kit, and union cities run higher.

Questions

About PX-699

Are the meeting rooms private?

The rooms have walls and doors, so conversations are separated from the floor, but they are not soundproof and are open above. They work well for meetings at normal speaking volume.

Will a double-deck structure be allowed at my show?

Many large shows allow two-story booths but require engineering drawings, permits and sometimes occupancy limits for the deck. We prepare these documents and check your show's rules well before the deadline.

Why are there two staircases?

One staircase serves each side of the deck, so guests are not funnelled through a single point and the upper level can be reached from either end of the booth. Your show may also set rules on exits from raised decks, and two stairs help meet them.
