Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space (paid to the organizer)
- Material handling / drayage, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the venue requires
Published rates:
- Booth space: $4,200 per linear 10×10, $4,500 corner, standard 2027 rate
- Expo Suite: $5,000 (10×10) or $10,000 (10×20); branded $10,000 or $15,000, 2027
- Second level: $22 per sq ft of second floor, 2027 rules
- Drayage: About $176 per cwt, 200 lb minimum, 2026–2027 planning figure
Key dates
- onPeak housing deadline for AANS 2027, mandatory for exhibitors: March 4, 2027
- Design sign-off with Purple: Late January 2027
- Late January 2027: Design sign-off; equipment inventory with weights and clearances locked, island plan drawn for the 60-day AANS review.
- February 2027: Production in Fishkill, NY over 30 to 45 days; FDA status labels and model trays built, graphics proofed against your imagery.
- By March 12, 2027: EAC form and certificate of insurance filed with AANS; Freeman orders for labor, electrical and rigging placed.
- Mid-March 2027: Booth, fixtures and equipment cases ship to the Freeman advance warehouse for San Diego.
- April 4–9, 2027: Installation inside the AANS window; demo checks done before the Exhibit Hall opens at 6 p.m. Friday.
- April 9–12, 2027: Exhibit Hall April 9–11, then teardown from the Sunday close to noon Monday; equipment packed to your return plan.

Checklist
- Send Purple your booth number and footprint from the AANS floor plan
- List every device with its FDA status so each gets the right AANS label
- List every piece of equipment with dimensions, weight, power draw and clearance
- Approve demo datasets and screen content with no identifiable patient information
- Approve the island plan in time for AANS's 60-day review
- Request any meeting or function space by March 12, 2027
- Book onPeak housing before March 4, 2027, as AANS requires of exhibitors
- Plan staff for three per 10×10 at a time and keep them until the Sunday close
