Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space (paid to the organizer)
- Material handling / drayage, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the venue requires
Published rates:
- Booth space: $54 per sq ft inline, $62 per sq ft island, 2027 rates
- Exhibitor meeting room: $54 per sq ft, 2027 rate
- Product Showcase Package: $2,500 first product, $500 each extra, 2027
- Drayage (Purple's McCormick Place planning figure): About $210 per cwt, 200 lb minimum, 2026–27 planning figure
Key dates
- Island booth design plans due to ADLM Exposition Management: February 15, 2027
- Design sign-off with Purple: Early February 2027
- By January 28, 2027: Space contracted with a 50 percent deposit; from January 29 ADLM charges 100 percent on application and on cancellation.
- Early February 2027: Design sign-off; island design plans with rigging and hanging signs filed in the ADLM Exhibitor Hub by February 15.
- March to May 2027: ADLM sends island plans to the Fire Marshal by March 31; production in Fishkill, NY over 30 to 45 days, analyzer plinths and status labels built and tested.
- By June 4, 2027: Final stamped plans, the Exhibitor-Appointed Contractor form with insurance, and giveaway or food requests filed.
- Late June to early July 2027: Crates ship to Freeman's advance warehouse on its published window; electrical, porter service and Freeman orders placed.
- July 26–31, 2027: Show-ready by Monday 2 p.m., Clinical Lab Expo July 27–29, then dismantle and freight out by Saturday, July 31 at noon.

Checklist
- Contract ADLM 2027 space before January 29, 2027, when deposits and cancellation fees go to 100 percent
- Send us the instrument list with weight, power, ventilation and FDA status for each unit
- Approve island plans in time for the February 15, 2027 Exhibitor Hub filing
- Prepare demo data and controls, since ADLM bans onsite sample collection and testing
- Pick giveaways under $100 and file the Giveaway Request Form by June 4, 2027
- Submit Industry Workshop topics and speakers by May 1, 2027 if you booked a slot
- Book staff rooms through Spargo, ADLM's housing partner, early in your priority group
- Plan for crates returning 6 to 8 hours after the Thursday noon close
