Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space (paid to the organizer)
- Material handling / drayage, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the venue requires
Published rates:
- Booth space: $37 to $51 per sq ft, 2027 rates, with A3 member discounts
- Space for a 10×20: $7,400 to $10,200 at 2027 rates, before build and services
- Space for a 20×20 island: $14,800 to $20,400 at 2027 rates, before build and services
Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: Late February 2027
- Late February 2027: Design sign-off with equipment dimensions, weights and utilities locked; island drawings prepared.
- March 2027: Production in Fishkill, NY; equipment bases and camera mounts test-fitted to your envelope drawings.
- Early April 2027: Crates leave for the Las Vegas advance warehouse, which takes freight about 30 days out; EAC form and insurance certificate filed.
- Days before May 10, 2027: Move-in on the dates in the exhibitor manual; our Las Vegas crew installs, routes power and data, and runs the demo checklist with your engineers.
- May 10–13, 2027: Show days, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Thursday, with a Purple project manager on call for the whole run.
- From 3 p.m. May 13, 2027: Dismantle after the Thursday close, equipment crated to your plan, booth to our Las Vegas shop, storage or the next show.

Checklist
- Send booth number, hall and footprint from the Automate 2027 contract
- List every machine's dimensions in each operating state, weight and utility spec
- Choose the one application the demo cell will run and the part it produces
- Decide which results need a camera feed and a large screen
- Prepare a labeled sample set of tooling, end effectors or inspection parts
- Consider an Innovation Awards entry or Startup Challenge pitch for a new product
- Assign operator, host and specialist roles for four show days, with a 3 p.m. Thursday close
- Book hotels through onPeak to use the free Automate shuttle buses
