Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space (paid to the organizer)
- Material handling / drayage, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the venue requires

- Exhibitor Booth Partnering: $750 member, $950 non-member, $800 pavilion per account, 2026
Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: Late February 2027
- June 2026 at BIO in San Diego: BIO ran onsite space selection for 2027 at its Exhibit Sales office, ordered by priority points.
- Late February 2027: Design sign-off; multi-level or ceiling booths prepared for BIO's display approval, due in early March in the 2026 cycle.
- March to April 2027: Production in Fishkill, NY over 30 to 45 days; meeting rooms, host desk and graphics built and proofed.
- Early May 2027: EAC registration and insurance filed, Freeman advance orders placed, meeting points added in the Exhibitor Resource Center.
- Late May 2027: Crates ship to the Freeman advance warehouse; move-in follows BIO's size-staged target schedule.
- June 7–10, 2027: Convention days, then dismantle and the booth to storage or your next show.

Checklist
- Confirm your BIO 2027 booth number and footprint with BIO's exhibit team
- Count the partnering accounts you will buy, two per 100 square feet
- Decide how many meeting points need walls, doors or acoustic panels
- Send pipeline, mechanism and capability graphics cleared by your legal team
- Book staff rooms in the official BIO hotel block before its cutoff
- Plan pavilion sharing companies if you exhibit inside a country or state pavilion
- Approve the design by late February 2027
- Add your meeting points in the Exhibitor Resource Center before partnering opens
