Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space (paid to the organizer)
- Material handling / drayage, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the venue requires
Key dates
- Mid-February 2027: Design sign-off; machinery dimensions, weights and sample counts locked into the drawings.
- Late February to March 2027: Production in Fishkill, NY; graphics proofed against your sample labels and process diagrams.
- Early April 2027: Booth, platforms and sample furniture ship to the advance warehouse in Kansas City.
- April 25–26, 2027: Move-in at the Kansas City Convention Center; Purple installs, places and levels machinery and runs the pre-show checklist.
- April 27–28, 2027: Trade show days; a Purple project manager is on call for the whole run.
- April 28–29, 2027: Dismantle, samples and machinery packed to your return plan, booth to storage or the next show.

Checklist
- Pull the booth number and footprint from your Petfood Forum contract
- List every machine or component traveling, with dimensions, weight and power needs
- Choose the hero ingredient family and the companion samples for the comparison counter
- Decide whether a process animation or a live component demo runs in the booth
- Send logo, brand palette, approved specification sheets and product photography to Purple
- Approve the concept rendering, process wall graphic and lighting plan
- Assign a specialist to each station: formulation, engineering, purchasing
- Book rooms at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown or the Loews and plan sample restocking and returns
