What makes Petfood Forum different, and how we build for it
Petfood Forum is the one show WATT Global Media builds entirely around pet food manufacturing, and the 2026 edition drew 3,600 pet food professionals from 43 countries and 381 supplier companies. The people in the aisles formulate, process, package and buy; they do not shop. The Petfood Essentials pre-conference workshop opens the week, the Interzoo Pavilion groups international machinery and ingredient suppliers, and Women in Petfood Leadership runs alongside five breakout session tracks. The trade show runs Tuesday and Wednesday at the Kansas City Convention Center, so every hour on the floor counts. A booth that shows ingredient, process step and finished kibble in one sequence gives a formulator a reason to stop and an engineer a reason to stay.
Sealed, labeled samples on a clean comparison surface with approved application data beside each one, and a specialist who can separate physical characteristics from nutritional claims.
The actual component or machine with its input and output shown, an accurate line diagram, and room to stand beside the equipment for a configuration and service conversation.
A document station with current specifications and supplier information, and a lead record that captures application, project stage and the right technical contact.
Purple in Kansas City
Local crew, national shop
Purple builds in Fishkill, NY and Las Vegas, NV, ships to every hall in the United States and installs on site with our own project manager and local labor. For Kansas City we book freight targets, coordinate the general contractor and run a pre-show QA so your team can just show up.
Predictable 30–45-day turnarounds, secure storage and pre-show QA. Your booth ships from our production shop in Fishkill, NY or our Las Vegas hub, and our project manager is on the floor for install and dismantle.

Booth options for Petfood Forum 2027
Pick a footprint. We’ll price it as a rental, a custom build, or a hybrid.
Petfood Forum is a supplier floor of 381 exhibitors, mostly inline booths from ingredient and equipment companies with a band of islands from the large processing and packaging manufacturers. Most Purple clients here choose a 10×20 with a sample counter and process wall, or a 20×20 island when a machine or a full portfolio travels.

One process wall, a sealed sample counter for a single ingredient family and a stool for the formulator conversation.

See 20×30 rental booths →All-in 2026 ranges for design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle; booth space, drayage and show services are separate. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show. Designing for pet food ingredient, processing and packaging suppliers at Petfood Forum
Four things we get right for Petfood Forum exhibitors

Build a sample library with discipline
Matching containers, readable labels and a fixed order your staff can restore in a minute. Sealed samples sit on a comparison counter with approved application data beside each one, restock stays hidden inside the furniture, and every variant keeps its identity from the first question to the follow-up email.

Plan machinery from the delivery backward
We take the unit's dimensions, weight, display state and handling needs before drawing a platform. A full unit earns its freight when scale is the story; a sectioned component with an input-to-output animation often explains a process better and leaves room for your engineer to stand beside it.
Input, process and output in one line
Formulators, plant engineers and buyers each join at their own stage, so the booth reads as a sequence: the ingredient or input, the process step you address, the finished kibble or package. A concise process graphic on the back wall places your product in the chain from the aisle.
Keep technical meetings useful
A properly sized table, a controllable screen and current approved specification sheets, positioned where the specialist can still reach the product. Lead capture records the application and project stage, so a purchasing or quality conversation continues with the right person after Kansas City.

Concept rendering
Every proposal comes with a rendering like this
You see the booth in 3D before we cut a single panel: layout, graphics, lighting and product positions, revised until it is right. Shown: a Purple concept for Quick Mill.

Logistics for Petfood Forum 2027, handled
The Kansas City Convention Center sits downtown at 301 West 13th Street, with registration in the 2300 Lobby and the Kansas City Marriott Downtown, the show headquarters hotel, one block away; the Loews Kansas City Convention Center Hotel also carries a Petfood Forum group rate. The trade show opens Tuesday and Wednesday, so machinery, samples and graphics have to land right the first time. We read the Petfood Forum exhibitor kit, order electrical, material handling and rigging from the general contractor, ship the booth and sample cases to the advance warehouse, book freight targets for the convention center docks, put our own project manager on the floor with local labor and run a pre-show QA before your team lands.

Petfood Forum exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before Petfood Forum
How much does a 20×20 at Petfood Forum cost?
A 20×20 custom island runs $50,000 to $120,000 and a 20×20 rental $16,000 to $40,000, covering design, structure, graphics and installation. A 10×20 inline, the most common Petfood Forum footprint, is $15,000 to $45,000 custom or $7,500 to $15,000 rental. Machinery platforms and sample furniture move the number; send us your list for a fixed quote.
Can you install at Kansas City Convention Center?
Yes. We ship from Fishkill, NY, book the freight targets for the convention center docks and put our own project manager on the floor with local labor for installation and dismantle. Machinery is placed and leveled, samples are set in order and a pre-show QA is finished before your team arrives.
Can we rent a booth for Petfood Forum?
Yes. Rental structures with your graphics, custom sample walls and hybrids of the two are all available, and a 10×10 rental starts at $3,500. Many ingredient suppliers exhibiting for the first time start with a 10×20 rental, then add a custom sample counter or a machinery platform the following year.
When do we need to decide?
Design sign-off by mid-February 2027 gives us a 30 to 45 day build and an early April ship date to the advance warehouse. Later is possible; the trade-off is finish choices and freight cost. Machinery displays need the longest lead because platforms and power are engineered from the unit's weight.
Do you handle the general contractor orders and drayage?
Yes. We read the Petfood Forum exhibitor kit, order electrical, material handling and rigging from the show's general contractor, file the drayage paperwork and keep you copied on every deadline. Your team receives one schedule and one invoice from Purple instead of a stack of service forms.
