Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space (paid to the organizer)
- Material handling / drayage, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the venue requires
Published rates:
- Booth space: $4,000 per 10×10 standard booth, 2027
- Island premium placement: $2,000 one-time fee, 2027
- Seminar room on the floor: $4,000 per 20×20; $2,000 per 10×10, 2027
- Hanging banner fee: $1,000 each, max 3, rigging extra, 2027
Key dates
- Last day for any refund on Pittcon booth space, packages and seminar rooms: January 29, 2027
- Design sign-off with Purple: Early February 2027
- By January 29, 2027: Space booked and paid in full; after this date Pittcon refunds nothing on booth space, packages or seminar rooms.
- Early February 2027: Design sign-off with an instrument list showing weights, power, gases and drain lines.
- February to March 2027: Production in Fishkill, NY over 30 to 45 days; counters fitted and tested with your instrument footprints.
- By March 19, 2027: Remaining Pittcon payments settled while checks and wires are still accepted; venue utility orders placed.
- Early April 2027: Crates ship to Pittsburgh on the published freight schedule; move-in in the days before the expo opens.
- April 26–28, 2027: Exposition days; we dismantle after the 3 p.m. Wednesday close and send the booth to storage or your next show.

Checklist
- Reserve and pay for Pittcon 2027 space; refunds end after January 29, 2027
- Use your existing company account so seniority points carry over
- Send us each instrument's weight, footprint, power, gas and drain needs
- Decide on a seminar room or mini seminar room for method talks
- Choose hanging banners from Pittcon's approved list, up to three
- Book staff rooms through onPeak, Pittcon's housing vendor
- Plan a complimentary press conference if you are launching an instrument
- Approve the design by early February 2027
