Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space (paid to the organizer)
- Material handling / drayage, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the venue requires
Key dates
- Late January 2027: Design sign-off, machine specs locked and island drawings submitted for approval.
- February 2027: Production in Fishkill, NY; graphics proofed against real printed parts and brand colors.
- Mid-March 2027: Booth, floor plates and sample furniture ship to the Detroit advance warehouse.
- April 10–12, 2027: Targeted move-in at Huntington Place; machines set first, then walls, lighting and parts library; pre-show QA.
- April 13–15, 2027: Exhibit hall open; a Purple project manager is on call for the whole run.
- April 15–16, 2027: Dismantle, machines and samples packed to your return plan, booth to storage or the next show.

Checklist
- Send Purple your booth number, footprint and the hall position from your RAPID + TCT contract
- List every machine going to Detroit with weight, footprint, power and material-handling needs
- Decide which printer runs live and which processes are shown through build stages and video
- Choose the twelve parts for the sample library and write the material, process and application label for each
- Send logo, brand palette, part photography and any SME AM Awards or TCT Awards entries to feature
- Approve the concept rendering, lighting plan and hanging sign artwork
- Book downtown Detroit hotels near Huntington Place for the technical team
- Plan sample replacements, spare consumables and the return shipment of equipment
