LUZI didn’t just exhibit. They turned something invisible into a space visitors could walk through.
A Swiss fragrance house founded in 1926, LUZI needed a booth that showed its creative world, not just its products. Purple Exhibits designed and fully executed an architectural environment: a shimmering chain curtain, arched entrances, and floating rings of light that echo how a scent moves through the air.
The result? A calm, elegant destination that stood out from across the hall and invited visitors to slow down, explore, and experience LUZI’s fragrances firsthand.

REQUIREMENT
LUZI, a Swiss fragrance house founded in 1926, is known for creating unique scent compositions for fine fragrances, personal care, and home products for brands around the world.
For this exhibition, LUZI wanted their booth to reflect something deeper than a traditional product display. Their work is built around emotion, creativity, and the sensory experience of fragrance, so the exhibit needed to communicate that philosophy the moment visitors approached the space.
The objective was to design a booth that would feel elegant, immersive, and almost architectural — a space where visitors could slow down, explore fragrance stories, and connect with LUZI’s creative world.
The challenge was to translate something invisible like scent and emotion into a physical environment that visitors could walk through and experience with all their senses.
SOLUTIONS
The booth was designed as a sensory architectural environment, blending soft materials, light, and spatial flow to mirror the feeling of fragrance itself.
A dramatic chain curtain structure surrounded the entire booth, forming a semi-transparent outer layer that created curiosity from the show floor while allowing visitors to see activity happening inside. The curtain acted almost like a veil — inviting people to step through and discover the world of LUZI.
Large arched entrances cut through the curtain walls, creating a feeling of entering a special space. Once inside, visitors were guided through a calm and elegant environment featuring warm wood textures, soft neutral tones, and gentle lighting.
Suspended above the walkway, a series of floating circular light rings created a flowing visual rhythm across the ceiling, echoing the invisible movement of fragrance in the air.
Inside the space, display islands allowed visitors to interact with fragrance samples and product concepts, while lounge areas created a comfortable setting for meetings and creative discussions.
The overall design blended architecture, lighting, and materiality to create a booth that felt refined, modern, and deeply aligned with LUZI’s identity as a creative fragrance house.
RESULT
The finished booth became a standout destination on the show floor, drawing visitors with its elegant presence and intriguing layered design.
The shimmering chain curtain exterior created strong visual impact from across the hall while still maintaining an open and welcoming environment. Visitors were naturally curious to step inside and explore the space.
Once inside, the calm atmosphere encouraged guests to slow down, interact with the displays, and experience LUZI’s fragrances in a setting that reflected the brand’s creative spirit.
