Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space, paid to IWF West
- Material handling (drayage) at the Henry B. González Convention Center, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging at the Henry B. González Convention Center
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the Henry B. González Convention Center requires
Published rates:
- Booth space, returning exhibitors: $23.75 per sq ft, 2027 rate
- Booth space, new exhibitors: $27.00 per sq ft, 2027 rate, plus $150 processing fee
- Second level: 50% of the base rate per sq ft, islands of 900 sq ft and up
- Drayage (Purple venue-guide figure): About $95 per cwt, Purple's 2026 planning figure for this building
Key dates
- Last day to reduce contracted IWF West space without liquidated damages: January 15, 2027
- Design sign-off with Purple: Mid-June 2027
- January 15, 2027: Last day to reduce contracted space without IWF West's liquidated damages; we size the footprint with you first.
- January 27, 2027: Second payment, 50% of the space cost, due to IWF West.
- April 27, 2027: Final 25% of the space cost due; design concept and machine list settled.
- Mid-June 2027: Design sign-off; floor plans and hanging sign drawings to IWF West two months before your freight arrival date.
- July 2027: Production in our Fishkill, NY shop over 30 to 45 days, then crates to the advance warehouse.
- August 25–27, 2027: Show days with our project manager on call, then dismantle, machines crated and freight home or to storage.

Checklist
- Check whether you count as a returning exhibitor (IWF Atlanta 2024 or 2026) for the $23.75 rate
- Confirm any Wood Industry Association member discount before the first invoice
- Pay 50% by January 27, 2027 and the balance by April 27, 2027
- List every machine with weight, power, air and dust collection needs
- Decide on a hanging sign (600 sq ft islands and up) or a second level (900 sq ft and up)
- Send logos, sample parts and finish samples to Purple
- Approve the design by mid-June 2027 so plans reach IWF West two months before freight
- Book rooms near the Henry B. González Convention Center
