Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Exhibit space (paid to Solid Waste Association of North America)
- Material handling / drayage, if the RCon space rate leaves it out
- Electrical service, internet access and rigging
- Booth cleaning, and union labor where Portland requires it
Published rates:
- Booth space, 100–300 sq ft: $39 per sq ft, 2026
- Booth space, 400+ sq ft: $37 per sq ft, 2026
- Corner fee: $350 per corner, 2026
- Extra staff registration: $725 SWANA member, $875 non-member, 2026
Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: Early July 2027
- Now to spring 2027: Request space from SWANA, first come, first served; send us equipment, vehicle and screen requirements.
- Early July 2027: Design sign-off about 10 weeks before the show: layout around any vehicle, graphics and demo stations approved.
- July to August 2027: Production in Fishkill, NY over 30 to 45 days; Portland headline panels printed and test-fitted.
- About three weeks before September 21, 2027: Booth crates ship to the advance warehouse named in the 2027 kit; vehicle load-in times scheduled with the contractor.
- Move-in days before September 21, 2027: Our project manager and vetted local labor install, place vehicles in their slots and test screens before the opening reception.
- September 21–24, 2027: Show days with our project manager on call; load-out after the hall closes, then storage or shipment to your next waste show.

Checklist
- Request RCon 2027 space from SWANA early; the 2026 hall sold out
- Choose square footage: in 2026, $39 per sq ft up to 300 sq ft, $37 from 400
- List any vehicle with length, width, height and weight for load-in scheduling
- Plan staff: two passes per 100 sq ft, up to ten, in 2026
- Collect references and tonnage figures from cities you serve
- Prepare a Portland panel on food waste and diversion if it fits your product
- Watch for the 2027 deposit and cancellation cutoff in spring
- Book the booth's next show: WasteExpo, BIOGAS AMERICAS or WEFTEC
