Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Exhibit space (paid to American Gem Trade Association)
- Material handling / drayage, if the AGTA GemFair Tucson space rate leaves it out
- Electrical, internet and rigging orders for AGTA GemFair Tucson
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the Tucson Convention Center requires
Published rates:
- Drayage planning figure: About $135 per cwt, 200 lb minimum, Tucson Convention Center, 2026 and 2027
- Buyer admission: Free for qualified trade, 2027
- Spectrum & Cutting Edge entry fee: $285 first entry at early bird, $315 after, 2026 competition
Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: Mid-November 2026
- Early November 2026: Confirm your AGTA booth numbers and hall, send case counts and tray sizes, and agree the lighting plan.
- Mid-November 2026: Design sign-off; counter drawings and graphics proofs approved against AGTA's exhibitor kit.
- December 2026: Production in our shop over 30 to 45 days; lighting tested with your representative stones.
- Early January 2027: Crates ship to Tucson for AGTA's contractor and the move-in schedule in the exhibitor kit.
- January 31–February 4, 2027: AGTA GemFair Tucson runs Sunday to Thursday; our project manager is on call for lighting and graphics fixes.
- February 4, 2027: Floor closes at 4 p.m.; dismantle, crates to storage or on to JCK week in Las Vegas.

Checklist
- Confirm AGTA membership and your 2027 booth numbers and hall
- List case count, tray sizes and how many seated buyers you need
- Choose the stones we use to test case lighting in our shop
- Decide what the backwall says about origin, disclosure and labs
- Plan the safe position and the close-of-day routine
- Book staff rooms early; AGTA's hotel block is for registered buyers
- Decide whether the kit travels on to AGTA GemFair Las Vegas
