Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space, paid to American Society of Landscape Architects
- Drayage, or material handling, when it is not in the ASLA + IFLA World Conference space rate
- Electrical service, internet and rigging
- Booth cleaning and whatever union labor the ASLA + IFLA World Conference venue requires
Published rates:
- Booth space: $41.00 per sq ft standard, $38.50 early, 2026 rates
- Premiums: $525 corner, $770 endcap, $1,050 island, 2026
- Drayage: About $210 per cwt, 200 lb minimum, 2026–2027 planning figure
Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: Mid-July 2027
- Now to spring 2027: Reserve space on ASLA's 2027 floor plan; we sketch the booth around the products you want designers to touch.
- Mid-July 2027: Design sign-off; booth plan prepared for ASLA, which in 2025 required plans for every booth over 100 square feet.
- Late July to August 2027: Production in Fishkill, NY over 30 to 45 days; sample decks built and heavy product crated on pallets.
- Late August to early September 2027: Insurance certificate filed with ASLA, contractor orders placed and freight sent to the advance warehouse.
- September 20–21, 2027: Load-in, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days; our project manager and vetted Chicago labor build and light the booth.
- September 22–24, 2027: EXPO days on September 22 and 23, then load-out on Friday, September 24, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Checklist
- Reserve EXPO space on ASLA's 2027 floor plan and ask for the early rate
- Choose the real products, benches, pavers or fixtures, you want on the floor
- Send us CAD details and installed project photos for the graphics
- Approve your design around mid-July 2027, leaving time for ASLA's booth plan review
- Submit your insurance certificate so staff registration and hotel booking open
- Apply for a Learning Lab or SKETCH! Studio slot if you want floor education
- Send unlimited guest pass links to the firms you want at your booth
