Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space, paid to Informa Connect Life Sciences
- Drayage, or material handling, when it is not in the BioProcess International space rate
- Electrical, internet and rigging orders for BioProcess International
- Booth cleaning, and union labor where the Hynes Convention Center requires it

- Drayage: About $190 per cwt, 200 lb minimum, 2026–27 planning figure
Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: Early July 2027
- Now to spring 2027: Contact Informa's partnerships team for 2027 space or a Start-Up Zone application; we draft footprints for each option.
- Early July 2027: Design sign-off about 10 weeks before move-in, with equipment weights and power for each plinth fixed.
- July to August 2027: Production in Fishkill, NY over 30 to 45 days, then a full pre-show set-up of the booth in our shop.
- Late August 2027: Freight to the advance warehouse or the Hynes as the 2027 exhibitor manual directs; union labor and electrical ordered.
- Move-in days before September 20, 2027: Our project manager and Boston union labor install, with equipment set and tested before the hall opens.
- September 20–23, 2027: BPI and Biotech Week Boston; after the hall closes we dismantle and ship to storage or your next show.

Checklist
- Contact Informa's partnerships team for 2027 space, or apply to the Start-Up Zone if your company is under five years old
- Weigh every piece of equipment you plan to show, for plinths and drayage
- Pick which BPI tracks your booth headline speaks to
- Set up ConnectMe meeting slots for your team before September
- Book rooms at the connected Sheraton Boston or Marriott Copley Place early
- Sign off the design by early July 2027
- Decide whether staff also need the Cell & Gene Therapy International sessions
