Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Exhibit space (paid to Design-2-Part Shows)
- Material handling at the Schaumburg Convention Center, when the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging at the Schaumburg Convention Center
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the Schaumburg Convention Center requires
Published rates:
- In-hall transport: D2P package handles up to 1,000 lb in the hall
- Drayage: About $120 per cwt where a contractor handles freight, Purple's 2026 venue-guide figure
- Parking: Free on-site parking for attendees and exhibitors
Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: Early March 2027
- Early March 2027: Design sign-off: process headline, industry rows for the parts case and certification logos approved.
- March to mid-April 2027: Our Fishkill, NY shop builds the backwall, glass case and lighting in 30 to 45 days, test-packs them and files the flame certificates.
- Roughly 21 days before move-in: Kit ships toward Schaumburg, or goes straight from the April Texas Design-2-Part show; venue power ordered if needed.
- Move-in before the May 12 doors: Our project manager unloads at the Schaumburg docks, sets the backwall and lights the case while you stage samples.
- May 12–13, 2027: Doors open at 9 a.m. both days and close at 4 p.m. Wednesday, 3:30 p.m. Thursday; we come back at close for tear-down.
- After the Thursday close: Pack-out, samples back to your truck and the display returned to storage or sent to the Novi show in June.

Checklist
- Book early with D2P: the 2026 Schaumburg show sold out before the doors opened
- Choose three processes for the headline and rank your parts by industry
- Gather 15 to 25 samples with material, finish and tolerance cards
- Sign off the design by early March 2027
- Send fabric samples so we file Illinois flame certificates
- Plan to ship the kit straight from Irving if you exhibit at both
- Load the D2P lead app on two phones and print a quote request card
- Reserve rooms at the connected Renaissance Schaumburg early
