Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Exhibit space (paid to dmg events)
- Material handling / drayage, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical, internet and rigging orders for Gastech
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the George R. Brown Convention Center requires
Published rates:
- Drayage (Purple planning figure): About $95 per cwt, 200 lb minimum, Purple's 2026–2027 GRB estimate
Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: Early July 2027
- Spring 2027: Book your stand or pavilion place with dmg events and send us the stand number and zone.
- Early July 2027: Design sign-off, including any hanging sign and the meeting room layout.
- July to August 2027: Production in our Fishkill, NY shop over 30 to 45 days, with graphics proofed against your equipment photography.
- Late August 2027: Booth, models and crated equipment ship to the show's official freight target for the GRB.
- Days before September 14, 2027: Move-in at the GRB docks; 2027 move-in times not confirmed yet. Our project manager installs and runs the handover check.
- September 14–17, 2027: Four show days, then dismantle after the 2 p.m. close on September 17 and freight home or to storage.

Checklist
- Book through Gastech's Book a Stand enquiry or your country pavilion and send us the stand number and zone
- List each product, model or component with size, weight and the face visitors should see
- Decide how many hosted buyer and procurement meetings need a closed room
- Watch for the 2027 Hosted Buyer and Supply Chain & Procurement applications
- Send logo, brand palette, project photography and approved client references
- Approve the concept, hanging sign and lighting plan by early July 2027
- Book Houston hotels near the GRB early
- Plan staff shifts for the 7 p.m. close on September 15 and the 2 p.m. close on September 17
