Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space, paid to International Facility Management Association
- Drayage, or material handling, when it is not in the IFMA World Workplace space rate
- Electrical service, internet and rigging
- Booth cleaning, and union labor where Kansas City requires it
Published rates:
- Booth space: From $4,500 per 10×10, 2026 World Workplace rate
- Corner premium: $150 per aisle corner, 2026 World Workplace rate
- Material handling: $2.01 per lb before the deadline, $2.52 after, 2026
- Extra full exhibitor badge: $850 each, 2026
Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: July 2027
- When IFMA opens 2027 exhibit sales: Reserve space through IFMA's Expos and Advertising team and choose corner or island options.
- July 2027: Design sign-off, including the booth diagram showing heights against IFMA's 8-foot and 4-foot lines.
- July–August 2027: Production in Fishkill, NY over 30 to 45 days; we request IFMA's written approval as your Exhibitor Appointed Contractor.
- September 2027: Freight to the general contractor's advance warehouse by its 2027 deadline.
- Days before October 13, 2027: Move-in with our project manager in Kansas City.
- October 13–15, 2027: Conference and expo, then dismantle only after the official close.

Checklist
- Contact IFMA's Expos and Advertising team about 2027 Kansas City space
- Budget the $150 aisle-corner fee if you want a corner
- Sign off the design by July 2027
- Have us draw the booth diagram against the 8-foot and 4-foot height lines
- Order carpet or approved flooring for the entire booth
- Plan staff for two short expo days and no early teardown
- Enter the Awards of Excellence or a Facility Tour if it fits your story
- Book rooms in IFMA's official hotel block when it opens
