Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Your JIS booth space, paid to the organizer
- Drayage, or material handling, when it is not in the JIS space rate
- Electrical, internet and rigging orders for JIS
- Booth cleaning, and union labor where the Miami Beach Convention Center requires it
Published rates:
- Drayage (planning rate): About $170 per cwt plus minimums and surcharges, 2026
- Off-window freight: 25% early/late handling fee outside the advance warehouse dates, JIS Fall 2026
- Non-exhibiting supplier badge: $1,195 per badge, with management approval
- Parking: $20 flat on the MBCC Level 5 deck; valet $35, JIS Spring 2027
Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: Late December 2026
- November to mid-December 2026: Booth location confirmed with your JIS sales representative; we take your tray sizes, case count and pavilion package details.
- Late December 2026: Design sign-off: case layout, cashier counter, lighting and bilingual graphics approved.
- January to early February 2027: Production in Fishkill, NY over 30 to 45 days; showcase lighting tested with your own pieces.
- February 2027: Freight to the Expo CCI advance warehouse inside its receiving window; electrical and lighting ordered from Edlen at the discount rate.
- Days before March 7, 2027: Move-in with our project manager on site; every case lit and the booth finished before the 9 a.m. show-open inspection.
- March 9, 2027 after 4 p.m.: Dismantle after the close; the booth goes to storage or ships on to JIS Fall in September.

Checklist
- Send your booth number, pavilion and size from the JIS contract, and whether you also take JIS Fall
- List tray sizes, showcase count and how much stock you sell off the floor
- Decide on English and Spanish wording for headers, price cards and line sheets
- Choose your armored car company: Brinks, Malca-Amit or Ferrari
- Name the two people authorized on each vault tag
- Register booth staff early with proof of employment and photo ID
- Approve the case lighting mockup and the concept rendering
- Plan storage of the booth between the March and September editions
