Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Exhibit space (paid to Infopro Digital US)
- Material handling / drayage, if the MakeUp in NewYork space rate leaves it out
- Electrical service, internet and rigging at the Javits Center
- Booth cleaning and whatever union labor the MakeUp in NewYork venue requires
Published rates:
- Drayage (planning rate): About $195 per cwt, 200 lb minimum, 2026–2027
Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: June 2027
- Spring 2027: Stand booked with the MakeUp in NewYork sales team; we confirm footprint, package and what the organizer supplies.
- June 2027: Design sign-off, including sample shelving, swatch counter and any Innovation & Trends plinth.
- June to August 2027: Production in Fishkill over 30 to 45 days; lighting checked against your real shades.
- Late August to early September 2027: Contractor forms, power orders and freight booked for the Javits; samples packed with the build.
- Move-in days before September 22, 2027: Our project manager supervises the union crew; stand finished and stocked before 9 a.m. opening.
- September 23, 2027 after 5 p.m.: Samples packed first, then dismantle; the stand goes to storage for MakeUp in LosAngeles or Suppliers' Day.

Checklist
- Send the stand number, footprint and package details from your MakeUp in NewYork contract
- List the formulas, components and applicators you will show and how many testers you need
- Decide whether to enter the Innovation & Trends Awards and which product
- Approve swatch counter, mirrors, lighting and sample storage
- Order power at the Javits for lights and screens
- Book briefings with brand teams before September 22, 2027
- Plan reuse for MakeUp in LosAngeles in February 2027 or 2028
