Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.

- Exhibit space (paid to Motion + Power Manufacturers Alliance)
- Material handling / drayage, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical, internet and rigging orders for Motion + Power Technology Expo
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the venue requires
Published rates:
- Booth space, MPMA members: $26.50 per sq ft, 2027 rate
- Booth space, non-members: $30.50 per sq ft, 2027 rate
- Payment schedule: 60% by Nov 6, 2026; 100% by Mar 8, 2027
Key dates
- Full MPT Expo 2027 booth space payment due to MPMA: March 8, 2027
- Design sign-off with Purple: Mid-August 2027
- November 6, 2026: MPMA's schedule puts 60% of your booth space cost due; we confirm the footprint and machine list with you.
- March 8, 2027: 100% of booth space cost due to MPMA; the Exhibitor Services Manual follows in spring 2027.
- Mid-August 2027: Design sign-off: machine weights, power, coolant and the sample list frozen.
- September 2027: Production in our Fishkill, NY shop over 30 to 45 days, with plinths cut to your largest gears.
- October 2027, before opening: Crates and machines to the general contractor; move-in, rigging and leveling in the days before October 26.
- October 26–28, 2027: Show days with our project manager on call, then dismantle after Thursday's 4 p.m. close.

Checklist
- Confirm booth number and footprint from the 2027 floor plan with MPMA
- Pay 60% of space by November 6, 2026 and the balance by March 8, 2027
- List the gears, bearings and gearboxes you will show, with sizes and weights
- Decide whether a machine runs, and send its power, coolant and rigging data
- Pick photos and drawings you are happy for visitors to see, since sketching is banned
- Order any booth coffee or snacks through Huntington Place catering
- Approve the design by mid-August 2027
- Book Detroit rooms early; MPMA's prospectus counts about 6,000 downtown
