Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: Late August 2027
- Spring 2027: Sign with SME early: early signers choose their positions first, and a soft deposit can hold the space.
- Late August 2027: Design sign-off with machine weights, footprints, utilities and the equipment spot locked on the floor plan.
- September 2027: Production in Fishkill, NY: machine bases, tooling walls, sample ledges and graphics built and test-assembled in 30 to 45 days.
- Early October 2027: Crates and machines ship to the show's freight target with weights recorded; electrical and rigging ordered once SME's 2027 exhibitor kit opens.
- Move-in days before November 2: Our project manager and vetted local labor build the booth while the rigger sets each machine on its marked spot.
- November 2–4, 2027: Show days; after the close we drain, crate and reload machines and send the booth to storage or MT WEST two weeks later.
Purple planning timeline; confirm official dates against your exhibitor kit.
