Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.

- Your TechAdvantage booth space, paid to the organizer
- Material handling at the San Diego Convention Center, Exhibit Halls D, E, F & G, when the space rate does not include it
- Electrical, internet and rigging orders for TechAdvantage
- Cleaning, plus any union labor the venue requires
Published rates:
- Booth space, NRECA member: $40 per sq ft, 2027 (10×10 minimum)
- Booth space, non-member: $42 per sq ft, 2027
- Extra exhibitor badges: $650 Full Conference, $175 Booth Personnel (expo only), 2027
- Startup Alley table: $750 per company, 15 spots, 2027
Key dates
- Custom rentals and flooring, EAC notice with certificate of insurance, rigging, graphics, labor and standard Shepard orders: January 21, 2027
- Design sign-off with Purple: Early December 2026
- Early December 2026: Design sign-off, about ten weeks before move-in: product layout, any vehicle position, hanging sign and graphics.
- December 2026 to January 2027: Production in Fishkill, NY over 30 to 45 days; fire-retardant certificates gathered for every material.
- January 21, 2027: EAC notification with certificate of insurance, rigging, graphics, labor and standard Shepard orders due.
- January 25 to February 5, 2027: Electrical and plumbing orders by January 25; freight into the Shepard advance warehouse by February 5.
- February 14–15, 2027: Move-in Sunday 8 a.m.–7 p.m. and Monday 8 a.m.–noon; carpet down by noon Monday.
- February 17–18, 2027: Expo closes 1 p.m. Wednesday; move-out until 7 p.m. and Thursday 8 a.m.–noon.

Checklist
- Send your 2027 booth number and size from the Novack Management contract
- List products with weights; anything near 350 lb per sq ft needs a plan
- Decide whether a truck or trailer goes on static display
- File the EAC notice with insurance by January 21, 2027
- Ship to the Shepard advance warehouse by February 5, 2027
- Register booth staff when badges open in mid-November 2026
- Check your priority points before 2028 space selection in January 2027
- Plan captions and keep booth audio under 85 dB
