Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Exhibit space (paid to New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists)
- Material handling (drayage) at the Javits Center, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging at the Javits Center
- Booth cleaning and whatever union labor the NYSCC Suppliers' Day venue requires
Published rates:
- Booth space, raw (2027): $35.00 per sq ft; open corner $250
- Booth space, furnished (2027): $38.00 per sq ft, in-line 10 ft deep only
- Drayage (planning rate): About $195 per cwt, 200 lb minimum, 2026–2027
Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: March 2027
- December 2026 to January 2027: Space reserved through the NYSCC booth sales system; we confirm footprint, corner count and whether you take raw or furnished space.
- March 2027: Design sign-off; NYSCC publishes the education program for 2027 and we plan booth talks around it.
- March to April 2027: Production in Fishkill over 30 to 45 days; counters, sample shelving and lighting tested with your real products.
- May 2027: Contractor forms, power orders and insurance filed; freight to the advance warehouse before the cutoff in the exhibitor kit.
- Move-in days before June 8, 2027: The Fishkill-built booth arrives with your project manager; assembled by union labor, lit and stocked with samples before opening.
- June 9, 2027 after 4 p.m.: You pack samples and literature, we dismantle and send the booth back to storage for the next show.

Checklist
- Send your booth number, size and corner count from the NYSCC booth sales system
- Tell us whether you booked raw or furnished space (furnished is in-line only)
- List the ingredients, fragrances or services you will feature and how many samples you hand out
- Approve counter heights, swatch stations and any refrigerated sample storage
- Order power through the Javits for lights, fridges and screens
- Register staff and book rooms through the official housing provider only
- Plan meetings with brand R&D teams before June 8, 2027
