Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Exhibit space (paid to Society of Cosmetic Chemists)
- Drayage, or material handling, when it is not in the SCC Annual Meeting space rate
- Electrical service, internet and rigging at the New York Marriott Marquis
- Booth cleaning, and union labor where the New York Marriott Marquis requires it
Published rates:
- Tabletop (2026, member / non-member): $4,140 / $5,175, exhibit only
- Poster (2026, member / non-member): $3,050 / $3,815, exhibit only
- Poster and tabletop (2026): $5,675 member / $7,095 non-member
- Lead retrieval (2026): $500 added to any exhibit option
Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: July 2027
- Spring 2027: SCC81 exhibit options and rates published; we reserve space with you through the SCC show sales page.
- July to August 2027: Design sign-off for the tabletop backdrop, poster and sample display.
- August to September 2027: Production in Fishkill over 30 to 45 days; display tested for the 84-inch limit and the freight elevator.
- October 2027: Exhibitor forms and insurance certificate prepared; poster printed; freight booked to the Marquis.
- Days before November 15, 2027: Display delivered to the hotel and set up in the install window the SCC publishes for 2027.
- November 16, 2027 at the close: Display packed and returned to storage for Suppliers' Day or the 2028 IFSCC Congress.

Checklist
- Choose poster, tabletop or both once SCC81 rates are published
- Reserve and pay in full through the SCC show sales page
- Send the poster abstract and exhibitor details by the SCC's form deadline
- Approve a tabletop backdrop no taller than 84 inches
- Provide a $2 million liability certificate naming the SCC
- List samples and literature for two days of sessions
- Book rooms at the Marquis before the hotel discount ends
