Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.

- Your SfN Neuroscience booth space, paid to the organizer
- Material handling at McCormick Place, when the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging at McCormick Place
- Booth cleaning and any union labor McCormick Place requires

- Booth space, commercial inline: $6,950 per 10×10 advance, $7,645 standard, 2026 rates
- Booth space, island: $7,510 per 100 sq ft advance, $8,265 standard, 2026 rates
- Booth space, nonprofit: $1,390 per 10×10 advance, $1,530 standard, 2026 rates

Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: July 2027
- January to May 2027: Space purchase; in 2026 Group A sales opened January 26 and advance rates ran to May 1, and the 2027 sale dates are not confirmed yet.
- July 2027: Design sign-off, about 12 weeks before Chicago move-in; island and peninsula drawings prepared for SfN Exhibit Management.
- August to September 2027: Production in our Fishkill, NY shop over 30 to 45 days; service manual orders placed and drawings filed (September 11 in the 2026 cycle).
- Early October 2027: Crates ship to the official contractor's advance warehouse for the South or North Building.
- Days before October 23, 2027: Move-in; in 2026 island booths got a targeted first day before general installation.
- October 23–27, 2027: Meeting days with our project manager on call, then dismantle after the hall closes and freight to storage.

Checklist
- Watch for SfN's 2027 sale dates and gather your priority points
- File the First-Time Exhibitors Form if your company has never exhibited
- Decide inline, peninsula or island before choosing a hanging sign
- List every laser and its class for the safety-manager plan
- Plan full-booth flooring and power for each instrument
- Submit giveaway items for approval if they are not on SfN's list
- Book a Product Theater or Expo Suite early if you want the extra points
- Reserve crew rooms near McCormick Place once housing opens
