Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Exhibit space (paid to Texas Association of Builders)
- Drayage and material handling, unless the space rate already covers it
- Electrical, internet and rigging orders for Sunbelt Builders Show
- Booth cleaning and whatever union labor the Sunbelt Builders Show venue requires
Published rates:
- Vendor Show Pass (non-exhibitors): $1,500 early to $2,000 onsite, 2026 rates
- Builder Show Pass: Free in May, $100 advance, $150 onsite, 2026 rates
- Drayage: About $95 per cwt, 200 lb minimum (Purple's GRB planning figure, 2026–2027)
Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: Mid-June 2027
- When TAB opens 2027 booth sales: Reserve space through the Map Your Show booth portal; we size the design to your booth and hall.
- Mid-June 2027: Design sign-off, about 10 weeks before move-in: cutaway sections, vignettes, technology and graphics approved.
- Late June to late July 2027: Production in Fishkill, NY over 30 to 45 days, flat-packed for a staff-assisted build.
- Early August 2027: Service orders filed and crates shipped to the contractor's warehouse or the GRB dock per the exhibitor kit.
- Move-in days before the floor opens: Our project manager builds with your team and checks every product, light and screen.
- August 30–September 2, 2027: Show days in Houston; dismantle at close and storage until the next builder show.

Checklist
- Reserve 2027 space through TAB's Map Your Show booth portal
- Book pre-set meetings with the Texas builders you target
- Plan lead capture in the booth, since TAB shares no lists
- Enter a builder client's project in the Star Awards by April 2, 2027
- Book rooms only through the hotels TAB names for Houston
- Decide which products are shown installed in a cutaway
- Send the freight to the GRB dock or warehouse named in the kit
- Bring staff who can talk Texas codes and climate
