Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Your Surf Expo booth space, paid to the organizer
- Material handling (drayage) at the Orange County Convention Center, West Concourse, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical, internet and rigging orders for Surf Expo
- Booth cleaning and any union labor the Orange County Convention Center, West Concourse requires
Published rates:
- Parking: $20 plus tax per car, $40 oversized, per Surf Expo FAQ
- Non-exhibiting manufacturer badge: $2,000 per person, one show
- Exhibitor badges: 10 badges per 10×10 contracted
- Freeman material handling (September 2026): 68¢ per pound to the advance warehouse or show site, 85¢ per pound after the warehouse deadline
Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: Mid-November 2026
- Now to early November 2026: Book or confirm space through the January 2027 application; we plan the footprint against the West Concourse floor plan.
- Mid-November 2026: Design sign-off for walls, board racks, counters and graphics.
- Late November to mid-December 2026: Production in Fishkill, NY over 30 to 45 days; Freeman and OCCC orders placed once the Exhibitor Services Manual opens.
- Early December 2026: Crates ship to Freeman's warehouse, which stores freight up to 30 days before the show.
- Move-in days before January 6, 2027: Our project manager and vetted local labor build the booth and stock the walls.
- January 6–8, 2027: Show days, then dismantle after the 4 p.m. Friday close; the booth goes to storage until September 9–11.

Checklist
- Send the January 2027 application or Request Info form and confirm your booth size
- Sign off the design by mid-November 2026
- List boards, wetsuits and displays that need racks, and any items over 300 pounds
- Decide self-unload or Freeman freight; booths over 10×20 rarely qualify for POV
- Book buyer appointments in Surf Expo Connect once your badges are registered
- Book rooms through Evolvcon, the only official housing partner
- Plan a creator-friendly product shelf for Tidal Reach
- Reserve storage so the booth returns for September 9–11, 2027
