Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space, paid to Modular Building Institute
- Material handling at the Rosen Shingle Creek, when the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging at the Rosen Shingle Creek
- Cleaning, plus any union labor the venue requires

- Booth space, members (2027): 10×8 $3,850; 20×8 $7,700; 16×20 island $15,400; 16×30 island $23,100
- Booth space, non-members (2027): 10×8 $4,850; 20×8 $9,700; 16×20 island $19,400; 16×30 island $29,100
- Extra exhibitor staff (2027): $975 per company exhibitor, $1,475 non-company; $100 more onsite
- Registration (2027): Members $1,675 for 200 tickets, then $2,225; non-members $2,275, then $2,825
Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: Late January 2027
- Now to January 2027: Book your booth with full payment; MBI assigns space by request, competitors, booths bought and date received.
- Late January 2027: Design sign-off, about 10 weeks before move-in: product wall, module section and graphics.
- February 2027: Production in Fishkill, NY within 30 to 45 days; panels built to hand-move in a carpeted ballroom.
- By March 5, 2027: Hotel rooms booked in MBI's Rosen Shingle Creek block before it expires; exhibitor kit orders filed.
- Move-in before the exhibit hall opens: Freight from the advance warehouse; our project manager builds on carpet with floor protection.
- April 5–8, 2027: Convention, with the exhibit hall on its second and third days; we pack out after the hall closes.

Checklist
- Join or renew MBI membership for member booth rates
- Book your booth with full payment and a competitor-distance request
- Pre-register booth staff to avoid the $100 onsite fee
- Reserve rooms in the Rosen Shingle Creek block by March 5, 2027
- Order carpet, electricity and installation from the exhibitor kit
- Bring a product section that shows how it installs in a module
- Book meetings for the two exhibit days
- Keep private events outside MBI's scheduled programming
