The short answer

Staffing a booth at NAB Show

NAB Show booth staff have one job that matters most: get the gear into a visitor’s hands and the right buyer to your sales team. Purple Exhibits books local product presenters, workflow demo hosts, on-camera hosts, stage hosts, booth reps and trade show models for NAB Show 2027. The price is $85 per person per hour for any role, with a four-hour minimum. Everyone we send lives in Las Vegas, so nothing on your bill covers airfare or hotel rooms. Conferences and workshops run April 3–7, 2027, and the show floor at the Las Vegas Convention Center is open April 4–7. Book five to six weeks ahead for the widest choice; with 72 hours’ notice we can still fill a rush request.

Choose the look

Four looks for a media tech booth

Pick one look for everyone or mix them by job: black at the camera bar, brand color at the aisle, crew wear at the pods. You send any logo pieces; we confirm sizes and check that every person arrives pressed.

Studio black

Black tailored trousers or skirt, a black top or blazer and quiet shoes. Gear and screens get the attention, and the crew never fights the LED wall.

Best for: Camera bars, LED walls

Brand color pair

Two or more hosts in one matching color from your logo, like satin tops over white trousers. It photographs well and ties the team together.

Best for: Aisle entry, photo moments

Crew wear

Your branded polo or quarter-zip, dark jeans or chinos and clean sneakers for long days around rigs and pods.

Best for: Workflow pods, live sets

Evening attire

Cocktail dresses and dark suits for client dinners, suites and receptions once the halls close.

What we staff

NAB Show staffing services

Eight jobs we fill for NAB Show 2027 staffing, from the open corner to the client lounge. Every one of them is $85 per person per hour.

Trade show models

Models stand at the open corner of your booth in your brand colors and invite broadcasters and creators in from a long LVCC aisle.

Brand ambassadors

Ambassadors work the counter and the giveaway table, scanning each badge first and steering visitors to the right station.

Promotional models

For a new camera reveal or a booth photo moment, promotional models present the product and keep the crowd facing your stage.

Hostesses

Hostesses run the client lounge and meeting room, greet each appointment by name and keep the calendar on time.

Product presenters and demonstrators

Presenters learn a short talk track for each camera, lens or software station and give the same clean demo all day.

On-camera hosts

Hosts front your booth livestream, social clips or interview segments, so your engineers do not have to.

Registration and check-in staff

Check-in staff handle guest lists for booth theater sessions, customer events and partner dinners during show week.

Lead capture booth reps

Reps scan each badge, ask your questions and tag the lead as broadcaster, creator, post house or integrator.

Staff the booth in workflow order

Visitors at NAB Show think in a chain: capture, produce, post, deliver. Booths that lay demos out in that order are easier to walk, and staffing each step keeps the chain moving to your lead desk.

Dead air

Five NAB Show staffing mistakes to avoid

Fault 01

A camera with nobody near it

Gear left on a table gets picked up, set down wrong and walked past. Every hands-on station needs a person.

Fault 02

Talks to empty chairs

Booth theater sessions fill when someone gathers the crowd ten minutes before. Without a stage host, the seats stay empty.

Fault 03

Walk-ons in the live shot

A busy aisle will wander into your stream. A floor runner keeps the frame clean and the next guest ready.

Fault 04

One lead tag for everyone

A broadcaster, a creator and a post house buy very differently. Tag each lead by type at the scan.

Fault 05

Meetings in the noise

Booths near the main stages and theaters are loud. Keep a closed room with a host on the door and the calendar.

Purple Exhibits Las Vegas team
Checked by our NAB Show coordinators · Updated

How much do NAB Show booth staff and trade show models cost?

One price covers every role: $85 an hour per person, with a four-hour minimum for each shift. Presenters, on-camera hosts, stage hosts, booth reps and models all bill the same. Our crews are Las Vegas locals, so you pay no travel fees.

When is NAB Show 2027?

Conferences and workshops run April 3–7, 2027. The show floor at the Las Vegas Convention Center is open April 4–7. Most booths staff the four floor days and set shifts around exhibit hours.

Which hall will my NAB Show crew work in?

Wherever your booth is. NAB Show uses the West, Central and North Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The rate is the same in every hall, and we brief staff on your hall, your entrance and your booth number before day one.

Can your presenters run our camera or software demo?

Yes. Send a short talk track for each station and give us an hour with your engineer before the floor opens. Presenters run the hands-on part; detailed technical questions go to your team.

Can you provide an on-camera host for our booth livestream?

Yes. We send hosts who are comfortable on camera to front segments and interview your experts. Add a floor runner if the set faces a busy aisle, to keep people out of the shot.

Do you staff booth theater sessions?

Yes. A stage host gathers people before each talk, introduces the speaker and scans badges as guests leave. One stage host covers one theater for the whole shift.

How many staff does a NAB Show booth need?

Start with your stations: one person for each hands-on camera bar or software pod, then add a booth rep and a greeter. A live set or a theater adds one or two more. The rundown builder on this page counts it for you.

How far ahead should I book for NAB Show?

Aim for late February, five to six weeks before the floor opens on April 4. That leaves time to match staff to your gear and rehearse. Rush requests still work with 72 hours’ notice.

Where can I hire booth staff near the Las Vegas Convention Center?

Here. Our NAB Show crews live in Las Vegas and report to the convention center without flights or hotel nights on your invoice. The same team can cover suites and dinners on the Strip, at $85 an hour per person.

Can I book promotional models for one day of NAB Show?

Yes. Book a single day, such as opening day or the day of your launch. Each person has a four-hour minimum, and you can add days later while there is still time to brief.

What happens if a staff member cancels?

We keep briefed standby staff in Las Vegas during show week. A replacement reaches the convention center within two hours. If we miss that window, you do not pay for that shift.

Are you the official NAB Show staffing company?

No. Exhibitors hire us directly. Purple Exhibits is independent and has no affiliation with the National Association of Broadcasters, the organizer of NAB Show.

Can you staff NAB Show and ISC West in the same week?

Yes. ISC West opens April 5, 2027 at the Venetian Expo, while NAB Show is on the floor April 4–7. We book a separate crew for each booth, each at $85 an hour.

Do you offer bilingual booth staff for NAB Show?

Often, yes. NAB Show 2026 drew visitors from 146 countries. Tell us the languages your buyers speak when you book, and we look for Las Vegas staff who speak them, at the same rate.

Can Purple build our NAB Show booth too?

Yes. We design, build and install exhibits at the Las Vegas Convention Center, including LED walls, live sets and closed meeting rooms, and we can staff them under the same plan.
