What makes SAMPE 2027 different, and how we build for it
SAMPE is the North American meeting for advanced materials and process engineering, and the floor is built around people who test, specify and manufacture composites. More than 100 Technical Presentations, the University Research Symposium, the Tutorials and the Student Bridge Competition pull engineers, researchers and program managers from aerospace, defense, automotive and energy into the same hall as the exhibitors, and the Awards Ceremony and SAMPE Corporate Partner Program keep the senior people on site. In 2026 the show drew 2,528 industry professionals and 183 exhibiting companies, and 74 percent of attendees influence purchasing decisions. A booth that puts a real specimen beside a real part, with a table for the technical conversation, is what this audience rewards.
Specimens they can handle, a cut section or finished part that shows the construction, and staff who can talk cure cycles, fiber architecture and test data without a script.
A comparison surface with labeled samples, a screen for process data or animations, and a quiet table to discuss evaluation samples and documentation.
One clear application story from the aisle, proof of manufacturing capability and a private meeting spot for program and supply conversations.

02 Booths & pricing for SAMPE 2027 2027
Pick a footprint. We price it as a rental, a custom build, or a hybrid.
SAMPE floors are mostly inline booths from material suppliers, tooling and test companies, with islands from the large composites and aerospace primes. A 10×10 or 10×20 with a specimen library and one anchor part is the normal footprint, and Purple clients at materials shows usually choose a 10×20 or a 20×20 island with a meeting table.

One anchor component on an engineered support, a lit specimen tray and a counter with drawers for the rest of the sample range.

04 Designing for advanced materials, composites and process engineering at SAMPE 2027
Four things we get right for SAMPE 2027 exhibitors
1Let the specimen be examined
Advanced materials are visually subtle, and a dramatic wall can swallow a small coupon. We give every specimen a lit close-view surface with a consistent label and connect it to a larger part or application visual, so the visitor understands why the small object deserves a closer look.
2Support the part so its structure reads
We design fixtures that expose the relevant section, surface or joint instead of hiding it behind branding. Send us the real component's weight, handling points and transport protection and we engineer the support, the crate and the lift plan before drawing the surrounding architecture.
Pair the process with its output
Place an approved process sequence, tooling example or short animation within sight of the input and output specimens, and keep the system diagrams at a working table with your technical team. Visitors follow the stage you supply without you disclosing proprietary parameters.
Plan the handoff and the storage
Decide which items can be handled, which need a representative and which are display-only. We build storage for spare specimens, packaging and literature into the furniture so the comparison surface stays clear, and the tray and packing system carries over to your next show.

Concept rendering
Every proposal comes with a rendering like this
You see the booth in 3D before we cut a single panel: layout, graphics, lighting and product positions, revised until it is right. Shown: a Purple concept for KSE Supplier.

SAMPE 2027 exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before SAMPE 2027
How much does a SAMPE booth cost?
A complete 10×10 rental runs $3,500 to $8,000, a 10×20 rental $7,500 to $15,000, and a 20×20 custom island $50,000 to $120,000, including design, structure, graphics and installation. Custom part supports and specimen libraries move the number; send us sizes and weights and we return a fixed quote.
Can you install at the Salt Palace Convention Center?
Yes. We bring our own project manager and book the local Salt Lake City crew. We handle the freight target, the dock, the drayage and the utility orders through Salt Palace Event Technology Services, then place and level every fixture and component before your engineers arrive.
Can we rent a booth for SAMPE instead of buying one?
Yes. Rental structures with your graphics, a custom specimen wall on a rental frame, or a fully custom build are all available. Most first-time SAMPE exhibitors start with a 10×10 or 10×20 rental and add one engineered fixture for the anchor part.
When do we need to decide?
Design sign-off by early March gives a comfortable 30 to 45 day build and a late April ship date for the May 17 opening. Later is possible; the trade-off is finish options and freight cost on a tighter window.
Do you handle the exhibitor paperwork, drayage and utilities for SAMPE?
We file the organizer forms that concern the booth, order electrical, internet and compressed air through Salt Palace Event Technology Services, book your material handling and keep you copied on every deadline so nothing depends on a form you did not know about.
Before you sign with anyone
Five questions to ask any exhibit builder for SAMPE 2027:
- Is every fee on the proposal, including what the show contractor bills?
- Who builds the booth: your own shop or a subcontractor?
- Will your project manager be on the floor for install and dismantle?
- What exactly is in the rental, and what is billed by the show?
- Where does the booth go after the show, and what does storage cost?
Common situations
Already own a booth? We refresh the graphics, repair what is worn, ship it, install it and store it between shows. You keep the structure you paid for.
Exhibiting from outside the US? We are your team on the ground: freight to the advance warehouse, show-service orders, installation and storage, with one project manager answering your emails in your time zone.
Short on time? A rental with your graphics can be ready in two to three weeks. We tell you on the first call what is realistic for your date.
