What makes XPONENTIAL different, and how we build for it
XPONENTIAL is AUVSI's flagship show, co-hosted with Messe Düsseldorf North America, and the one floor where every layer of autonomy shows up at once: airframes, ground robots, maritime hulls, sensors, counter-UAS and the software that ties them together in the XPO Hall. MDEX, the co-located defense manufacturing and supply chain event, runs beside the Defense Technologies Zone and the AUVSI Defense theater, so program managers and procurement teams walk the aisles next to startups and integrators. Buyers here want to see the actual hardware, understand where your piece fits in the system and leave with a name for the next conversation. A booth that does those three things in the first thirty seconds earns the meeting.
The platform in view at real scale, a plain statement of the approved application, and a closed meeting space where requirements and timelines can be discussed away from the aisle.
Sensors, modules and materials they can pick up, a system diagram that shows exactly where your part fits, and an engineer at the fixture who can answer specification questions.
A guided interface demonstration with one clear scenario, evidence of compliance and deployment, and a host who routes each visitor to the right specialist in under a minute.
Purple in Miami Beach
Local crew, national shop
Purple builds in Fishkill, NY and Las Vegas, NV, ships to every hall in the United States and installs on site with our own project manager and local labor. For Miami Beach we book freight targets, coordinate the general contractor and run a pre-show QA so your team can just show up.
Predictable 30–45-day turnarounds, secure storage and pre-show QA. Your booth ships from our production shop in Fishkill, NY or our Las Vegas hub, and our project manager is on the floor for install and dismantle.

Booth options for XPONENTIAL 2027
Pick a footprint. We’ll price it as a rental, a custom build, or a hybrid.
The XPO Hall mixes large platform islands from prime contractors with dense rows of 10×10 and 10×20 component and software booths, plus state and international pavilions. Most Purple clients at XPONENTIAL land between a 10×20 with one mounted platform and a 20×30 island with a demo station and a closed meeting room.

One sensor or module gallery on a lit back wall, a single mounted small UAS, a monitor for the interface loop and a stool for a conversation.

A mounted platform on an engineered low plinth, a component display with labeled fixtures, and a standing demo station for the ground control interface.
See 10×20 rental booths →
An island with an airframe or ground robot as the centerpiece under a hanging sign, a guided software station and an open meeting table with concealed compute storage.
See 20×20 rental booths →
Multiple platforms on separate mounts, a counter-UAS or payload demo zone, a closed meeting room for program discussions and storage for spare units and crates.
See 20×30 rental booths →All-in 2026 ranges for design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle; booth space, drayage and show services are separate. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show. Designing for uncrewed systems, robotics and autonomy companies at XPONENTIAL
Four things we get right for XPONENTIAL exhibitors

Make small components inspectable
Small technical products disappear inside oversized architecture. We start the fixture design with the actual sensor or module and the viewing distance it needs, choose lighting that reveals the working surfaces, and put the label in the same place on every mount so a buyer can compare two parts without asking.

Engineer the platform mount
We size the mount from the airframe's real weight, span and center of gravity, plan how it enters the hall and goes up, and keep the plinth low so the silhouette reads from the aisle. A static platform with a clean perimeter and a knowledgeable engineer beside it starts more conversations than a crowded display.

Put the screen beside the hardware
The interface demonstration sits beside the hardware it explains, at a comfortable standing height with room for a representative and three visitors. Cables, compute and network gear live inside the furniture. We build a reliable playback mode so the story continues when the hall's live connection drops.

Show which part is yours
Program managers want to know exactly which part of the system is yours. We give each product its own fixture and label, pair it with a system diagram that marks your contribution, and separate partner hardware visually so no visitor mistakes a supplied component for your manufactured range.

Concept rendering
Every proposal comes with a rendering like this
You see the booth in 3D before we cut a single panel: layout, graphics, lighting and product positions, revised until it is right. Shown: a Purple concept for Flashnet.

Logistics for XPONENTIAL 2027, handled
Miami Beach Convention Center is a right-to-work building, so your full-time staff can set up with hand tools while rigging, electrical and internet stay exclusive to the center's providers. Freight reaches the west docks off Convention Center Drive over the MacArthur, Venetian or Julia Tuttle causeways, with marshaling off-island, so a missed target costs hours; drayage plans at about $170 per hundredweight. Covered and multilevel booths need Miami Beach Fire Prevention approval. We prepare that package, ship from Fishkill to the advance warehouse with margin, book your targets, order the exclusives early and hold rooms at the Loews or Fontainebleau while the Grand Hyatt on campus is still under construction.
Hall rules, drayage estimates and freight deadlines for this building are in our Miami Beach Convention Center exhibitor guide.

XPONENTIAL exhibitor questions
Questions exhibitors ask us before XPONENTIAL
How much does a 20×20 at XPONENTIAL cost?
A 20×20 custom island runs $50,000 to $120,000 and a 20×20 rental island $16,000 to $40,000, covering design, structure, graphics and installation. Engineered platform mounts, demo stations and a closed meeting room move the number. Send us your platform dimensions, weights and footprint and we return a fixed quote.
Can you install at the Miami Beach Convention Center?
Yes. Our Miami Beach crew installs at the Miami Beach Convention Center with a Purple project manager on the floor. We design the mounts from your platform's dimensions and weight, route heavy crates through the west docks on a booked target and level every fixture before your team arrives.
Can we rent a booth for XPONENTIAL?
Yes. Rental structures with your graphics, custom mounts on a rental frame and fully custom builds are all available. A 10×20 rental runs $7,500 to $15,000. Most first-time XPONENTIAL exhibitors start with a 10×10 or 10×20 rental, add one engineered platform fixture, and upgrade the structure in a later year.
When do we need to decide?
Design sign-off by early March 2027 gives a comfortable 30 to 45 day build in Fishkill and a late-April ship date to the advance warehouse. Later is possible; the trade-off is choice of finishes, freight cost and how much of the Miami Beach labor pool is still open.
Do you handle the exhibitor paperwork, service orders and drayage?
Yes. We read the XPONENTIAL exhibitor kit, file the EAC form naming Purple as your contractor, order rigging, electrical and internet from the center's exclusive providers, book your freight targets and handle the drayage paperwork, and keep you copied on every deadline.
