What makes Space Symposium different, and how we build for it
Space Symposium is the one week when military, civil and commercial space leaders gather in the same resort, and the exhibit floor is built to match. Space Foundation runs the exhibit center across three halls at The Broadmoor: Bartolin Hall, Broadmoor Hall and Colorado Hall, which was added for the 41st Symposium in 2026 and houses the Innovate Space Supplier Showcase for component and subsystem makers. With 300 or more exhibitors and about 12,000 attendees, traffic arrives in waves between sessions, so your booth has to explain a mission in thirty seconds from the aisle and then hold a program-level conversation in private.

Space Symposium floors mix prime-contractor islands with dense rows of 10×10 and 10×20 supplier stands, especially around the supplier showcase in Colorado Hall. Four things we get right for Space Symposium exhibitors
1State the mission before the hardware
Visitors need to know whether you launch, build, integrate or deliver data before they interpret a model. We put the application on the aisle face, the space segment in the middle and the ground connection behind it, so the sequence reads in one pass from the aisle.
2Engineer the model, not just the plinth
Scale models and flight-like components are fragile, heavy at odd points and often illuminated or moving. We design mounts from your dimensions, mass and viewing angles, plan the lifting path and build protective transit cases so nothing arrives with a snapped antenna.
Separate public demos from cleared conversations
Screens on the aisle carry approved mission content only. Program schedules, pricing and export-controlled material stay in an enclosed briefing room with sight lines managed, so your team can talk freely while the booth stays open to the floor.
Label scale so the story holds
A one-tenth model and a full-size subsystem can share a booth if every piece carries its scale and its place in the system. We set label sizes, lighting and contrast so the relationship is clear from six feet away, not just up close.

Logistics for Space Symposium 2027, handled
The Broadmoor is a resort, not a convention center, and the exhibit center is split across Bartolin Hall, Broadmoor Hall and Colorado Hall, each with its own dock access and setup window. Colorado works under the Labor Peace Act rather than a straight union-shop rule, so the hand-carry and contractor labor lines are drawn in the show rules for each hall, and exhibitor check-in is badge pickup, not freight access. We read the exhibitor rules for your assigned hall, book targets with the official contractor, ship models and structure to the advance warehouse, and put our own project manager and local Colorado Springs labor on the floor for the install and the dismantle.

Questions exhibitors ask us before Space Symposium
How much does a 20×20 at Space Symposium cost?
A 20×20 custom island with an enclosed briefing room runs $50,000 to $120,000, all in for design, structure, graphics and installation; a 20×20 rental lands between $16,000 and $40,000. Model mounts, private rooms and AV move the number, so send us your hardware list and we return a fixed quote.
Can you install at The Broadmoor?
Yes. We work all three exhibit halls at The Broadmoor, route freight through the official contractor for your hall, and our crew mounts models, hangs graphics and levels every piece before your team lands in Colorado Springs. You walk in to a finished booth on opening day.
Can we rent a booth for Space Symposium?
Yes. A 10×20 rental with your graphics runs $7,500 to $15,000 and a 10×10 from $3,500. Most first-time Symposium exhibitors rent the structure and invest in a custom model plinth and lit mission graphic that travel to the next show with them.
When do we need to decide?
Design sign-off by late January gives a 30 to 45 day build and a mid-March ship date for an April 12 opening. Later is possible; the trade-off is lead time on custom model mounts and higher freight cost to Colorado Springs, so earlier is cheaper.
Do you handle the show contractor orders and drayage?
We order material handling, electrical and rigging through the official contractor for your assigned hall, file the forms that concern the booth, and keep you copied on every deadline so nothing depends on a form you did not know about. You approve, we file.
