At NAMM the product makes noise, so the crew has to manage sound as well as people. Purple Exhibits provides NAMM Show booth staff for music products exhibitors: product presenters, headphone demo hosts, signing line hosts, booth reps and trade show models. Every role costs $85 per hour per person, with a four-hour minimum. Our NAMM crew lives around Anaheim and Los Angeles, so no flights, hotels or travel fees show up on your bill. The 2027 show runs January 26–30 at the Anaheim Convention Center, and the exhibit floors are open January 28–30. We name one person to own your booth volume, run listening stations and demo slots on a clock, and keep artist signing lines off the aisle. NAMM lands right after the holidays, so lock your crew by mid-December. A rush order with 72 hours’ notice is still possible.

Each fader is one part of a music booth. Move them to match your stand and the master bus shows the crew, the cost and how loud your booth will run.

Example 30×40 music products island, not to scale. Before the show we mark up your real floor plan the same way.
Visitors want to pick up the instruments. A model or presenter stays at the wall, hands each guitar down, plugs it into the quiet rig and puts it back on its hanger when the player moves on.
Numbered listening stations keep the booth quiet. One host per four to six stations seats each listener, starts the demo track, then wipes and resets the headphones.
Open demos run on a posted schedule. The product presenter fronts each slot; the sound lead watches the level and brings it down between slots.
Appointments only. A host at the door checks names against the booking sheet, keeps each slot on time and has the next buyer waiting outside, not in the aisle.
The quiet corner for music store buyers and distributors. A booth rep with a tablet confirms who they are and books the meeting with your sales team.
When an artist signs, the line runs along your own booth edge. One host at the front, one at the tail with the line-closed sign.

The NAMM floor is loud, and every booth is trying to be heard. Decide which demos go into headphones, which play out loud and which go behind a door. Then staff each one.
One named person. Our sound lead keeps the demo clock, turns the level down between slots and is the one neighbors or show staff talk to. Everyone else on the crew points people to the sound lead.

Models stand with your guitar wall, new synth or hero drum kit for photos, creators and press. They learn the product names first, so the questions they get turn into real answers.
Ambassadors work your booth edge and the aisle, trade catalogs or picks for a badge scan and walk curious players to the right station.
For an artist appearance or a launch hour, promo models hand out wristbands and posters and keep the photo wall moving.
Hostesses run guest lists at dealer dinners and hotel suite listening sessions, seat each guest and hand over gifts on cue.
Presenters wear a headset and run timed demos on amps, synths, drums or recording software, then hand serious buyers to your specialist.
Check-in hosts staff your booth party, a hosted session or the demo room door with names, wristbands and a badge scan for each guest.
Reps ask music retailers and distributors the right first questions, tag each scan and book the meeting with your sales team.
NAMM draws visitors from more than 120 countries, regions and territories. Ask for the languages your distributors speak and we confirm who is available with your quote.
People who respect the gear, the schedule and the volume. These are the five roles we send to The NAMM Show.

Models who stand by your wall of electric guitars and keep every instrument camera-ready.

Presenters with a headset who run synthesizer and gear demos to a posted schedule.

Ambassadors who manage the line at artist signings so the aisle stays open.

Hosts who hand headphones to each visitor, start the track and reset the station.

Reps with a tablet who talk to music store buyers and book the follow-up meeting.
Send your gear listProducts, demo times and the volume plan.

Signings mappedLine hosts, wristbands and a hard stop.
An artist at your booth is the biggest draw you have, and the fastest way to block an aisle. Two line hosts work every signing on this timeline.
Hosts give numbered wristbands to the first badge-holders who ask, up to the count the artist can sign.
The queue runs along your booth edge, never across the aisle. One host at the front, one at the tail.
The front host keeps it moving: one item, one photo, next. Each badge is scanned while people wait.
The tail host holds the line-closed sign so nobody waits for a signature that will not happen.
The table is cleared and the stage is ready for the next demo slot.
NAMM is where retailers and distributors place orders. These two jobs protect the time your specialists and sales team spend with them.
Closed demo rooms are where the serious listening happens. The host makes sure each booked slot starts and ends on time.
Music store buyers and distributors come to place orders and plan the year. A rep makes sure they reach the right person.
The holidays sit right before NAMM, so most of this happens in December. Your ticks save in this browser.
