Four looks for a pro AV booth

Pick one look for the whole crew or match each space: the demo floor, the audio room and the evening reception. You ship branded pieces; we sort sizes and send everyone in pressed and on time.

Long black evening dresses

Floor-length black with a little sparkle at the neckline, the look on our cover photo. Simple, and it never fights the colors on your screens.

Best for: Launch moments, client receptions

Cream or white suits

A tailored double-breasted blazer with wide trousers in cream or white. Bright, calm and easy to spot in a dark hall.

Best for: Lounges, VIP welcomes

Branded tech polos

Your logo polo with dark chinos and clean sneakers. Practical for presenters who spend all day pointing at panels and walls.

Best for: Demo floor, control desks

Quiet black knits

A black knit top, black trousers and soft-soled shoes, so nobody squeaks or clicks across the floor of a listening room.

Best for: Audio rooms, dark demo spaces

What we staff

InfoComm staffing services

The roles we cover for InfoComm 2027 staffing, from the aisle to the meeting room. All of them bill the same $85 per person per hour.

Trade show models

Camera-ready models greet people at the corner of your booth and walk them to the display wall before the aisle pulls them away.

Brand ambassadors

Ambassadors work the aisle, scan badges and trade a short question for your giveaway, then send each visitor to the right demo.

Promotional models

For a product reveal on a big screen, promotional models stand beside the new hardware and keep the crowd looking at the image.

Hostesses and VIP hosts

Hosts run the client lounge, look after appointment guests and greet partners at receptions in the evening.

Product presenters and demonstrators

Presenters learn your talk track for a display, an audio system or a meeting room kit and deliver it the same way every time.

Registration and check-in staff

Check-in staff handle guest lists for listening room sessions, training rooms and customer events across show week.

Lead capture booth reps

Reps scan each badge, ask about project size and timeline, and book a follow-up with the right person on your team.

Multilingual staff

InfoComm draws buyers from many countries. Tell us early which languages you need, such as Spanish or Portuguese, and we look for Orlando staff who speak them.

Listening rooms

House rules for a quiet room

An audio demo on a loud show floor works only when someone owns the door and the clock. These are the rules our room hosts follow.

  1. Book the room in sessionsSessions start on the hour or half hour. The host keeps a list and calls names, so nobody waits in the aisle without knowing when they go in.
  2. Phones on silent at the doorThe host asks every guest to silence phones before they sit down. One ringtone ruins a demo for the whole room.
  3. Door shut, sign onWhen the audio starts, the door closes and a sign shows the session is running. Late arrivals wait for the next one.
  4. Quiet shoes, quiet staffOur staff wear soft-soled shoes in audio rooms and do not talk while the system plays.
  5. Questions after, not duringYour engineer takes questions once the demo ends, while the host lines up the next group.
Host city

Signal faults

Five InfoComm staffing mistakes to avoid

ERR 01

Presenter blocking the screen

A person in front of an LED wall is a shadow in every photo. Mark a spot on the floor to the side and keep the presenter there.

ERR 02

Listening room door left open

Hall noise drowns out the system you are selling. Put a host on the door for every session.

ERR 03

No plan for the meeting room

Appointments run late and walk-ins sit in reserved seats. One meeting host fixes both.

ERR 04

Every lead tagged the same

An integrator with a project next quarter needs a different call than a student. Ask about timeline and project size at the scan.

ERR 05

Staffing the full seven days

The June 12–18 program includes education days. Exhibits run June 16–18, so floor shifts only need those three days.

Purple Exhibits Orlando team
Checked by our InfoComm coordinators · Updated

How much do InfoComm booth staff and trade show models cost?

Each person costs $85 an hour, whatever the role, with a four-hour minimum per shift. Display presenters, listening room hosts, lead reps and trade show models all bill the same rate. Our crew lives in the Orlando area, so you pay no travel fees.

When and where is InfoComm 2027?

InfoComm 2027 is in Orlando at the Orange County Convention Center, West Building. Education runs June 12–18, 2027, and the exhibits are open June 16–18. We book floor shifts around your exhibit hall hours.

Does InfoComm move between Las Vegas and Orlando?

Yes, the host city rotates. InfoComm 2026 was held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, and InfoComm 2027 is in Orlando. We staff both cities with local crews, so the rate and the plan stay the same.

Can your staff run our LED wall or audio demo?

Yes. Send a short talk track and give us time with your engineer before the exhibits open. Our presenters deliver the walk-through and pass deep technical questions to your team.

Do you staff listening rooms and meeting rooms on the floor?

Yes. A listening room host runs timed sessions and keeps the door shut while the audio plays. A meeting room host checks appointments and keeps your schedule on time.

How many staff does an InfoComm booth need?

Start with your demos: one person per large display, audio room or meeting space demo. Add a lead rep and a greeter. The crew builder on this page does the count and the cost for you.

How far ahead should I book for InfoComm 2027?

Aim for about six weeks before June 16 so we can match staff to your demos and plan a rehearsal. Rush requests still work with 72 hours’ notice, but earlier booking gives you more choice.

Where can I hire booth staff near the Orange County Convention Center?

Book with us. Our InfoComm crews live around Orlando and report to the West Building on International Drive with no flights or hotel nights on your invoice. The same people can cover suites and dinners nearby, each at $85 an hour with a four-hour minimum.

Can I book promotional models for one day of InfoComm?

Yes. You can book a single exhibit day, or only a launch moment or an evening reception. Each person has a four-hour minimum, and you can add days later if there is still time to brief them.

Does the InfoComm badge cover other events?

The organizer says InfoComm, RESIDE and Lightapalooza share one badge in 2027. If you exhibit at more than one, tell us and we plan staff across all of them.

What should InfoComm booth staff wear?

It depends on the space. Branded polos suit the demo floor, quiet black knits suit audio rooms, and black evening dresses or cream suits suit lounges and receptions. You send branded items and we handle sizes.

What if a staff member cancels during the show?

We keep standby staff in Orlando during show week. A briefed replacement reaches the convention center within two hours, or you do not pay for that shift.

Are you the official InfoComm staffing company?

No. We are an independent company that exhibitors hire directly. We are not affiliated with AVIXA, the organizer of InfoComm.

Do you offer bilingual booth staff for InfoComm?

Often, yes. InfoComm 2026 drew attendees from 94 countries, so tell us early which languages your buyers speak. Bilingual staff bill the same $85 an hour.

Can Purple build our InfoComm booth as well?

Yes. We design, build and install exhibits, including enclosed listening rooms and meeting rooms, and we can staff the same booth under one plan.
