Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Booth space, paid to JD Events
- Material handling (drayage) at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center, where the space rate does not include it
- Electrical service, internet and rigging at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center
- Booth cleaning, and union labor where the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center requires it
Published rates:
- Listening room: $5,500 per Standard Listening Room, 2027 rate
- Booth space: Expo hall $1,500 per 10×10; Ear Gear $2,500 per 8×10; Car Audio $3,500 per 20×20 (2027)
- Event guide ad: Full page $1,350; half page $950; two-page spread $1,950 (2027 contract)
Key dates
- Balance of AXPONA 2027 exhibit space due: January 15, 2027
- Design sign-off with Purple: Mid-February 2027
- January 15, 2027: Balance of your AXPONA space due; room and booth count fixed.
- Mid-February 2027: Design sign-off: room graphics, lighting, system card and expo hall backdrop.
- March 2027: Production in our Fishkill shop; panels and racks test-fitted to the standard room dimensions.
- Early April 2027: Freight to Schaumburg; carts packed to the hotel elevator size.
- April 15, 2027: Rooms open from 8 a.m.; our project manager dresses each room and booth for system setup.
- April 16–18, 2027: Show days; pack-out after the 4 p.m. close on Sunday.

Checklist
- Send your AXPONA contract: room numbers and floors, expo or Ear Gear units
- List every component in each system with dimensions and price for the system card
- Tell us the standard room layout you were assigned so panels fit around the furniture
- Decide on entry signage and graphics for the expo hall or Ear Gear unit
- Pay the balance by January 15, 2027
- Plan Thursday setup times and who tunes each system
- Book a show photographer only after AXPONA gives photo consent
