Includes design, structure, graphics, installation and dismantle. A custom-built booth runs roughly $100 to $250 per square foot depending on finish level. A rental of the same footprint usually lands at 35 to 50 percent of the purchase price for one show.
Billed by the show
- Your DesignCon booth space, paid to the organizer
- Material handling at the Santa Clara Convention Center, when the space rate does not include it
- Electrical, internet and rigging orders for DesignCon
- Booth cleaning, and union labor where the Santa Clara Convention Center requires it
Published rates:
- Exhibitor badges: Up to 5 per 10×10 booth, extras charged, 2027 FAQ
- Priority points: 1 per year exhibited plus 1 per $3,500 spent
- Parking: Complimentary at the convention center
Key dates
- Design sign-off with Purple: Late November 2026
- Late November 2026: Design sign-off with the demo list, instrument models and power needs locked.
- December 2026: Production in Fishkill, NY; counters built around your fixtures and graphics proofed with real data plots.
- Early January 2027: Booth review form filed in the Exhibitor Portal; electrical and internet orders placed.
- Mid-January 2027: Crates ship to the official contractor's warehouse for Santa Clara.
- Before February 3, 2027: Move-in in the days before the expo opens; your project manager sets the booth and powers every bench.
- February 3–4, 2027: Expo days, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; dismantle after the Thursday close and crates to storage.

Checklist
- Send your booth number and footprint from the DesignCon 2027 floor plan
- List every instrument, fixture and evaluation board with power draw and size
- Choose the one measurement that should read from the aisle
- Pick connector, cable or laminate samples for the touch shelf
- Upload the booth review form drawings to the Exhibitor Portal with us
- Set up your VIP Guest Invites promo code and invite customers
- Book rooms in the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara block early
